I really love this kind of betrayal of expectation for our unfortunate protoganist. a very enjoyable read :D
cody is an interesting character. that he feels he has nothing left to lose and is using shrinking as a way out of it - to end his life, in a sense - is something I've been playing around with too. so I really liked seeing your take. the first paragraph gives such a clear picture of cody, for me, in terms of where he is at the time and place this starts. it's gloomy in a great way, and makes nick's victory over him that much sweeter, in terms of what I go for.
nick makes a pretty great giant :3c

In truth, I actually wasn't going to post this one here, since it's purely M/m (of course, it's already up on Coiled Fist), but since the M/m tag is here and there already are a number of M/m stories here, I just decided t go for it.
