Corey reacted the same way Jack did but Claire is a far nicer girl than Carly.I can see this ending in tragedy with Claire keeping Corey a secret, not because she wants to hurt Corey but she is worried their parents would react wrongly and she'd lose her brother to some government lab.

She could have prevented a lot of stress and anger if she had simply explained why she felt the way she did. She kept pretty much all her concerns to herself, when she should have been explaining them to him.

To be fair, she did try to explain herself a bit, though obviously not nearlly as well as she should or could have. Which I think is ultimately understandable, given the...uniqueness, of the situation, and what she almost did. Of course, saying that doesn't make things any better for poor ole' Corey.
