It's kind of sad that there aren't more half-sized sex scenes on this site. While I am generally most comfertable writing in the 2"-6" range (like most on here), I like to explore the whole range of size differences from just a little off normal to very tiny. I actually had an idea for a story where the main male protagonist would merely shrink from 6'0" to 4'4", and it would explore how his life and relationships would change on account of his new size.

I know you dont take suggestions becuase you wrote this story years ago, but I would like to share with you an idea for the next competition.
The next competition is simply voting. The smaller person gets to choose a bigger perspn on the next size level to switch places with them. Then the bigger person who was voted gets to choose the tiny that they cant switch with.
If that made no sense, they here is the rest of my idea.
First we have Marie who gets to vote on a quarter sized person who she gets to switch with. She choose Andy since she remembers what their alliance has agreed upon. Marie is now quarter sized and Andy is now one eight size. Andy looks at Marie with gratitude and she winks back at him. Andy knew if Carla wasnt here, he would have fun with Marie anyday.
Ok, now since Marie has joined the group, she is not allowed to particpate in the next voting. Paul, Vera, and Jerry cast in their votes to either swap places with Carla or Dale. Paul hated both of them, but decided he wanted a smaller Dale. Jerry voted for Dale as well. Vera had a grudge on Carla so she voted for Carla.
Dale was voted to shrink to quarter sized, but now he gets to choose who he wants to swap with to be half sized. He chose Vera so she could humiliate Paul. Vera is now half sized and Dale is now quarter sized to join Jerry, Paul, and Marie,
Since Vera just joined to be a half sized person, that left Carla to be the only one to grow to full sized and become queen. Carla clapped her hands excitingly and Hailey let out a sigh that everyone could her as she knew that she was getting shrunk. Hailey is now half sized, and Carla is now the queen.
The final sizes were Queen carla, half sized vera, and Hailey, quarter sized, Marie, Jerry, Paul, and dale. then one- sixteenth sized Andy.
Andy now looked at the collosol Carla and felt his heart race when he heard Betty speak.
"Carla would carry Andy to the house with you, please? Betty said smiling.
Carla took one magnificent stride and stood over Andy, she picked him up and cupped her hands looking down at him like a fish in a bowl.
Carla led everyone to the house and one by one they went to bed. Finally, it was just Marie, Andy and Carla left.
Carla's stomach grumbled which scared Andy a bit. "Im gonna use the ladies room real quick." she said. Andy wondered how Carla's farts would sound and smell like at this size. Carla left leaving Marie with Andy.
"So" Marie said smiling at Andy. "You like being small dont you?" Andy nodded also smiling.

Once his limbs were taped down, she let go of Andy's mouth and shoved a cotton ball in his mouth. Then Marie covered the rest of his face with tape leaving little slits open for his nose and eyes.
Marie looked at the mummified figure and couldnt believe the Andy was in there. He looked just like a doll! She grabbed the mummified figure of Andy and took him to Carla's room. There, Maire made a little present box and put Andy inside it. Marie wrapped the present with a ribbon and wrote a note that says "A gift for my best friend -Marie".
Maire put the present on Carla's bed, and scurried out of the room and into the main room. Carla was there waiting for her.
"Where is Andy?" Carla asked. "Oh, he said that he went to check on his things and that he will go to sleep with..." Carla interuppted her. "Sleep with who?!" Carla asked impatiently. "He didnt say" Marie said pretending to be oblivious.
"Ok, good" Carla relaxed.
"He was going to sleep with you, wasnt he?" Marie asked holding in her emotions.
"Well, i might as well tell you. Yes, we plan on sleeping together tonight" Carla said calmly.
"Oh thats so cute!" Marie excliamed, perfecting her role. "You two will be like the queen and her toy" she giggled.
"I guess you are right" Carla said, thinking about the situation.
"Well, i left you a little gift, if you wanted to prepare for Andy". Maire said.
"What do you mean?" Carla asked.
"Come on, i will show you!" Marie said tugging the gigantic Carla.
Carla entered her room and saw the gift. She opened it and saw the little mummified toy. She hugged Marie, and said "Aw, you shouldnt have"
"Well, have fun tonight, good night" Marie said. "Oh, and Andy will be with you soon, make sure you try that toy out first." Then Marie left.
Carla waved at Marie and wondered how long did Marie know. Well it didnt matter to Carla, now she wanted Andy, but first she wanted to inspect this toy.
Carla noticed that it was the same size as Andy and saw a note. It said it was from Marie and it also said "dont remove the tape, its for lubrication".
"Dont remove the tape, huh? Well, ok." Carla said.
Andy watched as Marie shoved him inside the box, his screams muffled from the cotton. His limbs were taped to his body to his sides and he could move or speak. Soon he heard voices, feminine, and then felt the present move.
Carla opened it and took out Andy. She looked at him directly, but saw that Carla couldnt recognize him. She saw him as a toy. Marie must have wrapped him up good.
He heard Marie leave, and now he was alone with Carla, but Carla still thinks that she is waiting on Andy. Andy hopes Carla will unwrap the tape so they could have their fun like last time. Thats when Carla read the note about lubrication.
"Nooo!" Andy tried to scream, but nothing came out. Now Carla wouldnt even try unwrapping him.
Moments later, Carla began to undress. He can see from the tiny slits that she was wearing nothing now, and her hand reached for him.
Andy felt himself being lifted and Carla planted a kiss on his head. "Does she know?" Andy thought.
Carla then began to rub the mummified doll down her skinny, but curvy body, and then her hand stopped right below her waist.

First of all, one chapter for an entire competition? Seems a little more stuff could be added to this chapter, but it was still a good one.
The one -eighth is very small. Marie doesnt seem to mind too much, but i think she likes being big even better.
Personally, I think a fullsized person should not go to one-eighth size that quickly. Maybe im just not used to people shrinking multiple sizes at once. The one-eighth spot was reserved for Andy! I was expecting him to lose on purpose and shrink, but instead, it was Marie.
The questions were just like last season. It was either about the contestents or the house.
I was surpised that Jerry wanted to knock a point off Vera. I thought they were friends. I was expecting him to vote for Marie.
Ok, lets look at the sizes.
Hailey is the queen. No one really fears that except Dale. Jerry loves it. The queen and her little man. I like it.
The two half sized people are Dale and Carla.
Dale finally is nearing the top with only two people his size or larger. He might get a nice dream tonight.
Carla is shrunk, but so is Andy. Round 2 sexy time with Carla begins tonight. Being half sized is still pretty big considering all the others and their respective sizes.
The quarter sized people are Vera, Paul, Andy, and Jerry. Seems like a happy bunch to me. Paul and Vera are reuntied. Andy has big Carla tonight, and Jerry has queen Hailey tonight. Betty must be proud, i think she made most people happy this time.
Finally, we have little Marie who is once again very tiny. That was a great scene you created. Betty's face was larger than Marie. I mean wow, and she is what, 7-8 inches tall now? thats amazing.
With 38 chapters left, it seems like within two or three more chapters, someone will reach one-sixteenth size. That would be an early elimination, unless.....you dont get eliminated by one-sixteenth, and it is one -thirtysecondth instead.
Either that, or there is a lot of growing and shrinking before someone gets to one-sixteenth size.
Also, when does Betty start using her own wishes to change the contestants size like last season? Last season, she wanted a little Tom, and little Dave so she changed the game to get them shrunk.
I hope Betty grants my wish of making every woman larger than the man. Queen would be Carla. half sized would be Vera, Hailey, Marie. Quartersized would be Jerry, Dale, and Paul. Then Andy would be one-eighth sized. I wish. :)

A note on the chapters: When I write, I typically don't write in chapters, I just go ahead and create one long block with little to no breaks. For the sake of orginization--as well as the need to subdivide for uploading--I go back later and break things up into chapters. I aimed for 8-10 Microsoft Word pages per chapter, and tried to divide the chapters at obvious break points. Some chapters might be a little shorter or longer than 8-10 pages as a result.
Being full-sized is often as dangerous as being the smallest, as competitions such as this can send you way down to the smallest size. That's why it could be seen as a good strategy to stay around middling-size through the early and middle parts of the competition and not try to get to much out in front and make yourself vulnerable. Then again, we know we can't trust Betty to run an honest game...wink wink.
Betty usually lets things progress naturally at first and then inserts her influence more and more as time goes on. There hasn't been any "behind the scenes" stuff yet about what happens outside the competition space, but that's about to change in a fairly big way!
And as for the first elimination, that is coming...well, I won't say whether it's coming soon or if there's a ways to go yet, but it is coming and it is inevitable!

Wow, a lot of stuff happened from waking up to the moment before competition.

Ok, now Dale has officially lost everything. He found hope in Marie and then lost it.
Paul lost marie as well, but atleast he has Vera.
Hailey, and Jerry. Notthing really happened to them, but it seems like they will be voted to grow next time.
I noticed you uploaded chapter 10 within a day of uploading chapter 9. Now you uploaded chapter 11 within 2 days of chapter 10. You also seem to upload it 11 pm eastern time every time, but i want to know how often you upload chapters. Is it everyday or every other day, or every 3 days, or some random schedule?
Im looking forward to the next competition, the next shrinking, and the next chapter. :)

I don't really have a set plan or schedule for uploading. I usually upload in the evenings because that is when I am home from work and relaxing. I try not to wait more than two days before uploading a new chapter because, for one thing, it's nice to keep the story on the first page of Most Recent, and second, with 50-ish chapters I'd be uploading it until the end of the year if I didn't do it that way!

Arguably the best chapter I read on this site!
I havent seen a writer use so much creativity in the positions that a giantess and a dwarf sized human could perform!
At first, I didnt like how Carla just asked him obvious questions, but now I realize that it was Carla making sure that Andy knew the kind of situation he is in for. She wanted Andy to know exactly how small he was and how easy it was for her to dominate him.
The best part for me and probably everyone reading this was the worship Andy had to do to Carla. As a panties fan, im glad you focused on the vulva most compared to any other feature on Carla's body. This gives me a hint of what is to come when Andy is smaller. :)

I just really cut loose and went for it. Now that the gate has been smashed wide open, expect the story to satisfy its "X" rating a lot more often!

As for the lack of reviewers, everything you mentioned is right, but I'd like to add one more thing: there's no moral dilemmas or philosophical and social issues to debate in this story. That's how The Titan Empire series got over 3000 reviews (Exile alone broke 1000) - a few people wrote multiple reviews per chapter arguing about the issues the stories present.

Yeah, this whole show has put Paul into a situation that he never thought he would be in, and it's causing him to see things in a new way. And yes, Andy is just nutty enough that he might want something like that.
You are correct when you said that there are no moral dilemmas or debates in the Shrinking Show. Which is kind of funny, because a lot of my other work (not so much stuff that winds up here) tends to have a bit of social commentary to it. But I knew it even as I was writing it--the Shrinking Show is just a bunch of kinky fun. There is conflict, but it is all interpersonal stuff, character dramas. The only way in which the Shrinking Show can be thought about seriously is in the way that it is a character study; other than that, it is pretty much a vehicle to produce porn scenes--and in my opinion they are that much more interesting when the characters are developed. Even the plot of the Shrinking Show is very thin when you look at it, to be honest, though this season sets in motion many things that would make the plot of further seasons more complex. (not giving anything away yet!)

Yes, the entire book will have around 50 chapters when it is finally uploaded. And yeah, I'm not altogether that much of a foot guy. However, I have grown to appreciate and even enjoy a bit of that side of the fetish, so my more recent works might include a small smattering of foot scenes here and there, but not so much on the older stuff.

Aw man! I thought the x rated stuff will happen in this chapter. Well, atleast I know that Carla accepted Andy. I wish he was smaller though.
Speaking of x rated stuff, I dont know how large is one-eighth, but I hope we get to see some insertion soon. Especially with Andy and Carla. Insertion or atleast putting a tiny person in a giantess's panties is a plus for me.

The alliance of Andy, Carla, and Marie almost voted for the same positions so it wasnt surprising to see these results. I think that since Carla remianed full sized, she knew that Andy helped and that is probably why she took him in.
Half -sized.-Hailey, Andy, Vera.
Hailey is still larger than Jerry and Dale. She doesnt seem like she is worrying much. As for Vera, she is worrying a bit. Paul, (her protector) is smaller than her and now she has to protect him, but Paul seems reluctant to let Vera do that. Then we have Andy who is loving life. He is about to sleep with a giantess, and all the women are either the same size as him or larger.
Quarter-sized- Jerry, Paul, Dale.
Jerry is getting unlucky. It doesnt seem like most people hate him, its more like the other contestants dont know enough to favor him. He still seems like the mysterious type of guy that no one cares about how they shrink or grow him. Paul, is tiny. He is also afraid of giant women like Dale. Kind of a coincidence that the alpha males are super tiny, and the guy who likes to be small is sort of tiny. Paul wants Vera's comfort, but he still isnt ready for a dominat woman. Dale, has been quarter-sized for how long? 5 competitions or something? Feels like he was small since the beginning. It would be amusing if Dale ends up being the one-eighth sized person.
Once again, another fantastic chapter! I feel like this story is too good to only have two constant reviewers. Just Ancient Relic and I. Where is everyone? Did Benton shrink them and put them in this story? Im kidding, but this story needs more reviews.
By the way, how tall is one-eighth? Which size is the insertion size?,becuase thats what im waiting for. I cant wait for the x rated stuff in the next chapter!

Full Size: 5'-6'; 100lbs-240lbs
Half-Size: 2'6"-3'0"; 12.5lbs-30lbs
Quarter-Size: 15"-18"; 1.5lbs-3.75lbs
Eighth-Size: 7.5"-9"; 0.2lbs-0.5lbs
Sixteenth-Size: 3.75"-4.5"; .02lbs-.06lbs
Insertion is one of my favorite aspects of the fetish, and as such is going to turn up quite a bit in just about everything I write on here, depending on the size ratio. I just want to remind you that were are not even one fifth of the way into this story yet and we are still ramping up to the raunchier stuff.
As far as the lack of reviewers, I think since this fetish is so much of a guilty pleasure type thing (even when compared to other forms of porn/erotica) people are much more likely to be lurkers and therefore not as many people are going to interact through reviews. It is kind of sad, though, I would like to hear opinions from more people. You also have to keep in mind that this story is a bit different than your average story on here; partially because of the type of story (this is more plot-with-porn than porn-with-plot, at least thus far) and partially because it doesn't contain many staples of the GTS community, such as crush or vore, as well as little to no foot action. But regardless, I hope more people come out of the woodwork and comment!

The Carla-Andy scene was a nice hint of things to come. I figure Carla will stay big for awhile while Andy gets smaller, so that they can get up to some crazy stuff.
The Marie-Dale scene was a good gentle giantess moment, a good way of fleshing out Marie's character, and marks a turning point in Dale's character. It seems to me that it was the ambiance, and Marie's caring nature, that helped ease Dale into his new state.
Paul's new attitude toward Andy is interesting. He's either changing, or thinks he needs to put on a nicer act now that he's small.
You wrote Dave instead of Dale alot. Things like that need to be caught in proofreading.

It's kind of cool how the Carla-Andy relationship is the thing that is getting the most attention--I actually thought this might be the case even as I wrote it. Also, I checked and there were 19 instances of "Dave" instead of "Dale" - how embarassing!

Im glad you like my analysis. It also helps me remember what each character is dealing with. Well, here goes another one. Lets start with the giants.
Carla didnt do much in this chapter except enjoy her full size. She also used Andy's interest in her to gain his support, forcefully. I like her reaction to Andy's approach which makes me think that she will sleep with him, but force Andy to worship her. It would be fantastic if Andy shrinks to quarter size, so Carla can literally dominate him on a new level.
Hailey doesnt mind small people going agasint her, but i dont think she will forgive just anyone. Hailey is using Jerry as Carla is using Andy. "Do what I say, and I will dominate you sexually" -Carla and Hailey. Andy and Jerry reply "I love a dominating giantess!"
Paul is still fearful of the two giant women, but he still has a comforting Vera. His fear of giant women seemed to stop him from humiliating Dale as well.
Vera has Paul at her side. She is also fond of Jerry. I see a potential alliance forming.
Andy got so lucky. Carla forgave him, but on one condition; she's in control.
Marie. If i see someone in real life doing something bizarre. I will think "its another Marie".
Also, about 1/3 of the chapter was Marie bathing with Dale. I enjoyed the detail you put into that. I hope you put the same detail when Carla dominates Andy in chapters to come.
Jerry lost Dale on his side, but strengthened it with Vera. He also got Hailey by letting her have fun with him.
Dale, the reason why you like Marie's body more is becuase she is a college girl. I wish I knew which college, but only you Benton and Marie know that, haha. However, I agree with Dale. A giantess girl that gives you a super bath and massages you is a win-win situation.
Im excited for the next competition, but I am more excited for the next chapter!

Another very astute analysis! Alliances may be shifting soon--or not, but I can't give anything away! Marie is definitely very free-spirited and will do crazy things like this if the mood hits her. Andy is in large part an audiance surrogate for Giantess fans--in most of my stories the characters react in more or less the way that I would expect normal people to react (with a bit of extra nudging towards the kinky stuff, of course), but the idea of Andy is what if someone went into the Shrinking Show having the fetish to begin with. With Dale and Paul, it is the Alpha Males being broken, a theme I've always loved in GTS works. Alpha males almost never do well in these kinds of competitions.

Andy! What have you done!
There are only three options now for Andy tonight.
Option A: Carla breaks her promise and refuses to let Andy have fun with her.
Option B: Carla keeps her promise but has her way with Andy whether he likes it or not.(he still might like it actually).
Option C: Benton writes a random, but mindblowing scene which I hope is option B.
Ok next, I was surprised that Jerry got shrunk, but it is always hard to go against Marie; she always has backup. Now Dale might beat up Jerry if this is even allowed in this show.
Personally, I liked how Carla humiliated Paul for a second in the shrink room. Thats the Carla I would love to see more.
Vera seems to have gained confidence with Paul her size now, and Dale wanting a large Vera to humiliate Paul. However, i think Paul is more likely to shrink rather than Vera will grow next time.
Carla got her wish to grow, but now she has this promise she made to Andy. Does she fulfill or not? I hope she does, and perhaps she can be rough on Andy since Andy likes a dominant woman. Win-win situation if you ask me.
Speaking of Carla, who's lap will Jerry and Dale sit on when they eat? Carla is way too big now and who knows what happens if they fall in between her legs. The half-sized people currently are Marie, Andy, Vera, and Paul. Im guessing Dale sits with Maire, and Jerry sits with Vera.
Hailey is still a giantess to Jerry and I wonder how the night will play out for them. Her two lovers, former and current, are both quarter-sized.
Dale is tiny and fearful of giant women and giant Paul. Now he is pissed at Jerry. Dale could only rise if he is on a winning team now.
Marie never wanted to grow, but she was kind of forced to beucase of how the voting took place.
Paul is shrunk, got humiliated by Carla, but now reunited with Vera at the same size.
The bug take away for me is what happens between Carla and Andy. Also, im a bit curious of the fate of Jerry. Well atleast there is another competition in the evening before bed. Maybe Carla will shrink Andy! Anyway, I cant for the next chapter!

Jerry is definitely playing it right here. He hasn't offended anybody, and everybody feels safe with him. That suggests that he's about to get bigger, and Paul and Vera are about to get smaller.
It's good that you spent so much time describing the characters in action. You get to know people by seeing them talk and act, not by reading a list of one-word traits.

Jerry is definitely a low-key, non-offensive kind of guy. The tough guys are the ones that get themselves into trouble, as we see. And I'm glad you like my approach with the characters. I definitely do like to think of them as if they were actual people rather than just a list of a few traits. I also tried to make it so that people could see any character in a positive or negative light depending on their viewpoint, although I am sure fan favorites are going to emerge.

My favorite chapter so far, and this was a long one!
Sneaky little Jerry making alliances with everyone. No one even hates him and he hasnt been doing much in this story. Im proud that he was a big factor this time.
Mighty Dale trying to move 1 step forward but took 2 steps back. Im not even sure if he will ever grow again.
Paul is living the life. Dominant, in control. Watching everyone shrink around him. He is friends with Marie and Vera, but i think he will shrink soon.
Vera seems to have nothing left. No physical power, no freinds except Paul and maybe Jerry. Well, i guess everyone is a friend of Jerry. She needs to be a team player and show some positive reinforcement to her teamates like Marie who is always joyful.
Speaking of Marie, that little girl is gonna get herself knocked off the show at this rate. She will keep shrinking and once she is at that last size, it will be too late.
Hailey may have lost Dale, but she quickly found Jerry. Not that hard to find someone when you are the only fullsized female.
Carla is the girl that I fancy personally and I want her to grow and dominate this competition. Im glad she made that alliance with Andy, and Marie. She even got Paul rooting for her a little bit. Now that she is used to her size, I see no trouble for her to rise back to the top.
Lastly, Andy my man. You did it. You got Carla to like you and grant you your wish if it happens. I am feeling exactly like Andy; I want him to be smaller than Carla and for Carla to dominate him. She even wanted Andy to sleep with him. Congrats, I hope Andy's wish does come true.
Benton, Im glad you started off setting the scene and developing character. It makes these later scenes much better and much more enjoyable. This chapter had some great action and I was glad that I know all the characters by now.
I cant wait for the next chapter! I think it is going to be epic!

The main idea for these early chapters is the characters (and audience) getting to know one another, and the beginning of their scheming and planning before the real excitement begins. It is always fun to throw challenges and situations at these characters and see how they react!

I can't say which team is more likely to be shrunk. Andy has a good reason in that he wants to be shrunk, but Paul has a good reason in that he's in for a nasty fall when he's shrunk with that attitude.

In addition, this water gun/easter egg thing seems fun. Little Marie is gonna spray everyone for fun. Wait no, i take that back. Bettey and Sherri will have their own swuirt guns and secretly squirt from long distance, freezing the comtestants. Thats my prediction.
As for the sizes in jeapordy part, I think that means that the losing group are the only ones whose names can be voted on in those 3 boxes. So of the four, one will enlarge, one will shrink, and one will get blocked.
You impressed me Benton. By the time i began reading chapter 4, chapter 5 was already out.
I love it! I cant wait for the results of this competition!

Fantastic chapter and excellent creativity of the block box. That idea is awesome!
Like ancient relic said, I was anxious for some sexy stuff but im always interested in a good story.
You teased me like 10 times during the voting. Im rooting for Carla to be full sized and Andy to be tiny. There were multiple times where I saw that people wanted to keep Carla big, but then wanted her small, and I was screaming, "No! Keep her big!" Haha, i feel like an idiot.
Same thing with Andy. I wanted him shrunk, and many people said they wanted to shrink Amdy, but changed thier mind. U teased me big time with Carla. She wanted him shrunk, but then changed her mind. So close. Haha.
As for Marie, I agree with hailey, Marie is way too happy.
In addition, I have a question. There are only 3 cards pulled out, one from each box. The block box is only affective if their name is pulled from either the shrink or grow box, correct? And if the block box happens to pul out a card that isnt from the other boxes, it basically is the same as to not having your card pulled out, right? Well, thats what i thought.
