Some shifty police work there, Columbo would be proud.
Look forward to how Howie works this angle.
Author's Response: Very, very carefully is how!

We've now seen a number of people request to speak off the record, so what we're reading is clearly not what will be submitted. Is it what Howard hopes to publish somewhere, or is he writing for the drawer?
@Carycomic: I'll be amused if Stargate is referenced, or if Wessex Daniel Jackson is mentioned (look him up).
Author's Response: Howard hopes someday to publish this as a means to help hurt the Shrink Act, but since he doesn't yet have enough research to do that, for now he's just building up material.

"Professional growth..." Heh! There's an ironic choice of phrase, for a gts-story, if ever I heard one. And, with all due respect to Abraham? Protests to the contrary, he must have heard _something_ concrete from those two sources he named if he's that nervous just denying any knowledge of the "seminar's" actual content.*
*I also can't help wondering if Daniel Jackson will turn out to have been an ancient history major in college (lol!).
Author's Response: Abraham is indeed aware of some of what goes on in the seminars. And I lack the referential knowledge to have made that Daniel Jackson connection before now.

That chapter built up the tension nicely. This is going to have to be really bad to deliver now.
How old is Abraham? You mentioned that he's aged a bit, but how old he actually is would say alot about how stressful this is.
Author's Response: I'd put Abraham in his early/mid forties, the aging comment was to suggest he looks older than he actually is.

Excellent chapter. Love Ms. Beakman. Her and Judy are most definitely my kinda giantesses. And also the whole interns thing was a brilliant idea. Wish she had her own spin-off story someday. And I actually thought Howard was gonna be shrunk by her but the future doesn't look good for him. But it looks great to me lol.
aaron
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing!

So, let me guess this straight. Ambitious prospective employees have to agree to these "seminars" (at the time they apply for jobs at Cambralart), or they don't get hired, at all?
Sounds like enslavement to me.
Author's Response:
...More or less how it works, yep. Enslavement's not a bad word at all here.

He's taking a huge risk with that line of questioning. Does he realize that as soon as he sets foot outside, Ms. Beakman will be on the phone to his bosses, since the companies are connected. And with the theories put forward in his last interview with Shelby, his company is suspected of dirty deeds. He might disappear some day. And would this embezzeling Mr. Stevens be connected with the Stevens family that we've all come to know and love? If so, he's so screwed.
Author's Response:
He fully realizes this, and already knows his employment is on the line. Disappearing is indeed a risk too. And this would be the same Stevens family; there'll be more on that in the 6th Timeout story.

Damn, someone's getting bold. I bet a sharper reprimand is coming down the pipe. Would he have gotten more information by taking an approach with more praise, or by pressing her? And I can't wait to get the details of what goes on at home.
It's been a few weeks, so did he ever follow up on Shelby's tips?
Author's Response:
One is indeed coming down the pipe. He gathered he wasn't going to get much from her, though he's not done snooping around this particular location for answers.
He's still following up on what he can with Shelby's tips; they actually provided the impetus for him to come here in the first place.

Evil is her middle name, Tania Evil Beakman. Tania E. Beakman.
Author's Response:
Ah, how did you guess it? :P

I can sense the evil dripping from her with each reply.
Author's Response:
Thanks for reviewing!

Man! This chapter is worthy enough to have been an episode of THE X-FILES!*
*Reviewer smiles as he pictures himself as Mulder in palm of giantess Scully's hand. X-)
Author's Response:
I appreciate the comparison! And that wouldn't be a bad hand to end up in.

Great chapter. Lots of interesting info, that create even more questions
Author's Response:
Thanks!

No worries on the fap material, this was an awesome read.
Shelby seems as if she might play the Girl Friday role to TC here.
Author's Response:
Thanks for reading, and interesting comparison!
Date: June 21 2014 7:04 PM Title: Report 1: Preliminary Findings
I like the last chapter, brilliant one that exposes everything wrong with the system.
I think it would be less like The Avengers but more of a Sinister Six.
Author's Response:
That might be a more apt comparison...
Date: June 21 2014 5:52 PM Title: Report 3: South Hanenrow University, Interview 3: Shelby Bill
This is like the Avengers. All my favorite villains/heroes coming together.
Author's Response:
Hehe. Good thing giantesses are always angry.
Date: June 21 2014 4:39 PM Title: Report 3: South Hanenrow University, Interview 3: Shelby Bill
This is the best chapter so far. It's longer, and I always like longer. It also gives us a wide-ranging look into the wider problem. I expected bad things, but this introduces some things I wasn't expecting. In addition, I was hoping Shelby would return, and this is actually more than I had hoped for. You go Shelby. That's some good research you did there, and good thinking telling Howard about it. Now, some questions going forward: just how much of this report will Howard be able to release, and how much will he be able to do?
Author's Response:
Thanks very much. Releasing it is going to be tough for Howard after these later chapters, but he's going to do whatever he can.

This is great Jack. It seems to reflect 'Cayce's' - 'Homunculous' story; which is one of my all time favorites. The heading and form written in a 'Report' style gives it that feel.
Look forward to this one too. As always, great set up, and I'll be following this one...
*The Shrink Act* - Someone Pretending to be a Phychologist. ;`) lol!
Author's Response: Thanks for reading! That's a comparison I wouldn't have thought of. Hope you continue to enjoy.

It was cool to see a new side of the characters and even feel a little sorry for Marion for once.
Well crafted.
Author's Response: Sorry for Marion? You monster.
Date: June 20 2014 10:10 AM Title: Report 5: The Lindon Family, Interview 2: Claire Lindon and Corey Lindon
Call me cynical. But, the Lindons sound more like an exception to a gradually--and frighteningly--changing rule.
Author's Response:
I'd probably sooner call you realistic in this case than cynical.
Date: June 20 2014 9:51 AM Title: Report 5: The Lindon Family, Interview 1: Professor Abby Lindon
She's listed the pro's for her family. But, I have a feeling her kids will cite few (if any) cons.
