Don't listen to your peace side yet! If the giant government isn't whipped out and chaos allowed to reign nothing will change. The Giants have a history with humans, and it would be far easier and convenient to force humans back inside the walls! Take back humanity's tattered pride! In doing so you will open the bridge toward whatever your heart desires. After humans killed their emperor, pitted them against each other from the shadows, then openly revealed themselves and wiped out what firm opposition remains, henceforth you can have what it is you desire, peace and coexistence on a level and respected field as stories of your cunning and brutality spread far and wide through the land. I ask you now... what is it you think of the constant warfare and death that has plagued humanity for so long under the flourishing rule of the Giants? For I know you have seen it... The woman crying... The children dying... And the men left to soak in their own blood as they leave their families to fend for themselves. History is as unmerciful in its repetition, as it is the loss of your family, your becoming an orphan, the scars engraved on your body and soul as well as to those people you slain with your own hands. Even in times of peace, often construed by one's victory and another's loss, this horrific ruling of history has not changed. Neigh, it bows only to those who adhere its harsh lessons and go on to reiterate and add to its curriculum.

Ah its nice to see you updating again!
Kate and Rageus seem to get along but damn she knows he isn't being honest at all. At least they like each other and although he still has plans to carry out his mission, Kate is showing him that not all giants are bad.

I love Attack on Titan. This story is meant to be a different interpretation of it, where neither side is inherently good or evil, and so there is a conflict of whether or not they should fight. If Attack on Titan were like this, it would be too depressing to watch.

Well Rageus will have a hard time not speaking if she looks so lovely and charming. Now he's the Chosen One? A lot to think about.
Kate doesn't seem to hate humans, I think Rageus would believed that she and the rest of her kind want humans dead but so far, it isn't the case. She does seem so beautiful that I'd drop this stupid war and live with her if she were willing. Plus she did save him so it does help the case that giants are not all evil and perhaps his mother is right, he can bring balance but it will be up to him how he does it.
Giants and humans living together? Humans driving giants to extinction or will it be the reverse? I am very interested. Hope to see more updates!

Author's Response: It is very inspired by Attack on Titan, in terms of the theme of what is freedom. However, the titans are monsters you can kill without second thought, the giants are not.
