You did a nice job with this.  Authors often underestimate the raw punch of a small, self-contained narrative such as this.  The foot-focused action was fun and the subtlety of the character personalities was well-handled.

Hey, nice to hear that from you. I really want to work on facial descriptions, the girl I have in mind for this is just plain looking, idly scratching the sole of her foot. I can't DESCRIBE that, though, it's hard ._.
