It's an interesting story. I'm not exactly sure what to say about it. It seems to be unique, and also unexpected. Some of the paragraphs could be broken up because they are long, especially towards the end. Your description is good however and I wonder how he ended up where he is, as I found the story lacking premise although I can see why other people would enjoy reading it.
