There are so many things I could write about in the sequels, so I hope I find time to cover it all. I think I'll focus on other survivors first, and leave any offworld humans for a possible future story.

I kinda wonder if there is a situation where a guy who has survived from the war back in katie's time pops up just like katie did in this worrld that she is now. ANd that guy was shrunk but he managed to get away from the enemy.......(just a thought)

Sorry it's taking so long to update, but it's been a busy few weeks. Next chapter's almost finished, though. As for the shrunken guy from the past idea, that's actually an idea I have for a future story, so you may see it someday ;-)

Sounds like the mid-Atlantic states acquired their version of an alligator. To paraphrase a saying about gators and dogs, "Do you love your little human? So does that ishiloo!" few more victories like these and she'll soon have an army of worshippers and can start her own community if she likes. She's really even-keeled for the situations she's finding herself in.

Wouldn't there be ruins to the old way of life? It does seem a bit odd how people shrunk but there was no technology to grow them back. And a trip to the moon is mentioned so that means there are humans not present on Earth who would not have been affected by the shrinking.I think they should have been important to the story and the development of humanity. I think I'm being very pedantic. It's a good story obviously, but I feel as if I have to mention these things.

There was never any technology to grow them back, it's a one-way effect. As to the humans not on Earth who may or may not exist, you'll know when Katie does.
