The strength of this story is not in the actual voring, which is pretty non-descript, but in the suspense of the longing and anticipation of the event. And in that sense, it is very well written. And a nice interweaving of the different antagonist.

Nice job Timescribe.

Came here for the vore and got a good story.... With less than decent vore. The story telling is entertaining, but alittle scattered to where it feels like i must switch gears between chapters. And if i were to rate the vore parts compared to others out there, it would be a solid 5.5 out of 10.

Author's Response:

That's a true and accurate assessment of this story.

Unlike some of my stuff, this as you say, doesn't have any concentrated vore, as I developed a lot of character dynamics along the way to fill up the pages.

Hmm. I might need to get in touch with these British Bachelor Boys. The slot for boyfriend is open for one. The slot for dinner... open to all.

Author's Response:

You are really too kind. It's great to have a keen enthusiastic vore girl reading my stories.

Great story-telling, as always.

Author's Response:

And I'd just like to say (comedy store drum beats here), "You've been a great audience!"

And, thus, ended his last "Ray" of hope.

Author's Response:

Or perhaps I should have said, of the previous review "It's not DRY humour."

It looks like Timothy's just a "prawn" in the Game of Life.*

*With deepest apologies to Mel Brooks.

Author's Response:

Mel would probably be honoured.

I'm sorry. But, more than anything else, this chapter reminds me of an old "Schoolhouse Rock" cartoon from the 1970's.

"Lolly, lolly, lolly! Get your adverbs, here."

Author's Response:

Schoolhouse Rock.

And I thought I knew every 70s cartoon. You've always got more to teach me.

But, it's also a giant gulp downward for the men. :-(

Author's Response:

It is ever downward we strive.... or something like that.

I had hoped you might. By the way; sorry, again, for all the duplicate reviews at your ST/AMcB crossover. Where's the embarrassment emoticon when you really need it?!

Author's Response:

Well Boston Legal and Star Trek actually, though David Kelley's shows tend to lead on into eachother.

The only time I ever did anything McBeal-ish was in my 2003 send up "Sally McSqueal". (It's still in the filing cabinet somewhere, filed under nonsense best fogotten).

I didn't expect another chapter to devour, so soon. Well done!

Author's Response:

I started the novel months before I started posting it, and finished most of it before posting chapter 1.

It gave me something to work on while I was gradually posting Mouse Man - Time Master.

I tend to put one or two chapters up at a time, so that other writers don't have to compete with a 30 chapter overnight instalment by me.

Still I couldn't help myself in posting the Star Trek / Boston Legal story simultaneously with the later chapters of this one.

Loved the devour pun by the way.

Talk about feminine logic. If she eats him, she'll never speak to him again, either!

Author's Response:

I hadn't thought of that. I honestly hadn't. I was just think of gts vore fantasy with all willingness to throw logic out the window. Well done again.

P.S.---Sorry. But, I still can't picture Ms. Long as anyone but a Maggie Smith/Honor Blackman cross.

Author's Response:

Why be sorry for that? The beauty of text is that you can read your own mental images into the stories, though I have been checking out the gts comics you pointed me to in Dreamtales with your own pastiche.

I hate to be overly serious. But, aren't you afraid of being labeled a hypocrite, and an advocate of suicide (what with the sleeping pill bit)?

Author's Response:

They were both going to die of starvation anyway, that's the thing. To paraphrase the Archbishop of Sydney, a man should pledge to give his life for his wife if the need arises, and she should pledge to submit to his authority. The true Biblical model for marriage. Sacrificial suicide is the very thing Christ did for us at the cross, to save us from eternal death, if we accept him. Won't force feed you a big spiel on that, but it's that example that the man is to follow in his marriage vows.

But I can see how the story chapter could be misleading.

Yes, I'd love to have my school days over again. I got caned once a term for 5 successive terms in prep school and once in high school too.

As to this chapter? Intriguing theories! Matches the ancient Greek beliefs that dreams were basically (to use the modern parapsychological term) astral projections.

:-)

Author's Response:

I wasn't thinking of astral projections when I came up with this, but more a mixture of "no explanation" like Twilight Zone time travel opportunities in some b/w episodes and the occasional time travel romance movie like "Portrait of Jennie" or "Two Worlds of Jennie Logan."

I just applied the (lack of) concept to giantess vore.

It was "Dream Weaver," and Gary Wright was the singer who made it famous. At least, circa 1976!
