My goodness, they're both so... Manipulative. At this point I'm not even sure WHAT these potions are doing, and I'm beginning to wonder if Michelle even knows how to reverse it. The first couple times when they made those potions it seemed like she knew what she was doing, but now it seems like "Let's throw this together and hope it doesn't kill us."
Author's Response:
Mmm, yes, excellent. My plan to confuse them is working ... <cue annoying evil laugh> :P

Nick is so gullible. Hah :P

Don't let impatient reviews getcha down. The fun part about this place is that because it's all free content, you've got no obligation to work at anyone's pace but your own. Although we post stories publically to let others see and hear their critiques, sometimes people don't get that their remarks should be on the quality of the content rather than the speed of deliverance. There are audiences for every taste, and your patient approach here obviously has its fair share of fans. So, keep on going at your own meticulous leisure. It would be a better site if more people put as much time as you do into cleaning up their writing.
As far as your difficulty getting chapters to edit properly, I'm at a loss. Personally, I never have problems with it. Even though I'm an admin, I'm mostly just the plagiarism police, while Asukafan2001 is the one making the bigger technical adjustments.
Regardless, keep on writing and posting at your own pace, and above all else enjoy the process.
Author's Response:
I coulda sworn I had responded to this the other day, but it seems to have disappeared ... Anyway, thanks for the kind words, and I will say that by and large the community has been patient and understanding and it makes for a really nice atmosphere for hanging out and sharing content. So, thanks jacksmith and thanks to the rest of you guys as well; it's been fun so far and I hope y'all like the rest of Pariah (there's plenty more left to post, btw...)
Also: a round of applause to Asukafan and jacksmith for fixing the bug w/ editing chapters already -- I've seen paid tech support reps who didn't work as fast as they did for free :).

Awesome. I hope she's still messing with him, but I can't wait to see what happens regardless.

My last comment was meant to be supportive, btw. I read it again and thought it may have come across differently than intended. Creative work is hard and people should avoid the sense of entitlement that sometimes develops.
To be honest, I once had an argument where I was the entitled fan and I'm kind of bringing my regret to this, haha.
Author's Response:
Thanks, dude. I appreciate it.

It was always on the front of my mind that you're doing this for free. The awareness that you don't owe me anything is part of what made me approach questions of progress gingerly, haha. People in a creative role often have to deal with the pushy productivity expectations of others; it's true all the way from musicians to Dungeon Masters to writers for Giantess sites.
Anyway, I'm happy to see that you edited what you posted so far and hope that means an update is coming soon.

You are full of you self. You are a good writer but guess what you suck when it comes to writing and and completing your story.
Author's Response:
I don't know what to say, man. This hurts to hear you say that to me, big time. I've spent hundreds -- yes, hundreds -- of hours slaving away on this story, writing and rewriting scenes making them as good as I can make them. And even though it has often gotten in the way of my real life and my real job, I'm offering it to you for free.
What happened to the guy who said this: "You said you wanted to finish before you posted more. BRAVO !!!"

Sorry to bother you yet again, but your last update has made me check this website way too often, haha. Would you say that an update is still more than a week away?
Author's Response:
Oh, sorry. I've started going back and changing a couple things with the early chapters but hopefully it won't take long and then hopefully I'll have a new chapter (ch. 9) posted soon, I'm shooting for next weekend depending on how busy I am.
Date: May 02 2013 5:45 PM Title: The Lab Partner
what an enjoyable and erotic story. I look forward to seeing more! :-D
Author's Response:
Quick update, guys: the first draft of the story is close to complete (finally ...). Once it's done, I'll start going back chapter by chapter and revising things. But I figured I'd post the chapters one at a time as I finalize them, rather than making you all wait until they're all all done (which could take a while, depending on how much I decide to change). So, look for the first chapters to start coming within a few weeks, and then (ideally) weekly or semi-weekly postings from then on until it's all up.

Comeone man you should treat your fans with something, even another prievew would help with the wait.
Author's Response:
Sorry, but I can't. It's not arbitrary where I chose to leave off; there's stuff starting in Ch. 8 that ties in to the rest of the story and I feel I need to get it just right so it has the right effect I'm looking for. The whole story's been a very iterative process with constant rewrites and changes, and hopefully the end product will be well worth the wait, but until then I can't release any more until it feels right.

I suppose a fruit cake as it's the least perishable of all cakes.
Author's Response:
Haha, touché :P

i'll send you a cake if you like when you next update. ;-)
Author's Response:
What kind of cake? That could make a difference. lol :)

hey hate to be a nag but this story is awesome and could really use an update. You said it would be a while is that a few more months or a few more weeks.
Author's Response:
Few more months, I'm afraid. Real life's been keeping me busy lately.

This story is a classic alredy.
You haven't posted in a while.
You said you wanted to finish before you posted more. BRAVO !!!
if you are not going to finish' please please post whatever work you have done.
Your fans and there are many of us want to see more reguardless of plot development.
YOUR WRITING IS THAT GOOD.
Author's Response:
Have no fear, I will indeed finish it. It's just a question of how soon. Hope you don't mind waiting a while longer. And thanks for the compliments :)
Date: February 11 2013 1:45 AM Title: The Lab Partner
Should we look forward to any new chapters soon?
Author's Response:
Sorry it's taking so long. I expected to be done by now. But, then again, the story is already a lot longer than I thought it'd be ...
I'm probably 2/3rds done, maybe more. But it'll be a while still, I'm afraid.

Thanks!

I am grateful for all of the entertainment you have already given me for free, so don't take this the wrong way, but do you have any idea about far away you are from an update?
Author's Response:
Hi anonyguy, unfortunately I've been too busy this last month to write much of anything, but after New Year's I'll have a lot more free time. Still a lot more to write, though. Could take a while.
Anyways, happy holidays!

A commendable continuation. You're easily one of the most promising new writers I've seen appearing on the "most recent" page of late. Your writing skills are noticeably a cut above a lot of the riffraff that shows up on the site. The story is progressing slowly, which I admit has its drawbacks, but your craft is strong enough that you can definitely get away with it. It takes a lot of restraint to write a story like this without leaping headlong into the action practically before anyone speaks. From a technical standpoint, while I would perhaps advise you to spice things up a little with some action, or at least enough to whet reader appetites, you're a good enough writer that you deserve a healthy benefit of the doubt for the direction you're heading with this. What you have here is very well-constructed and certainly very enjoyable. Keep it up!
Author's Response:
Much appreciated! Especially from one of my absolute favorite authors on the whole site.
For me, the journey is at least as good as the destination, in terms of seeing the characters' relationships slowly evolving, and building up more and more sexual tension while saving the best for last. So yeah, I definitely drag things out way more than most authors. But hopefully over time the scenes themselves will become more and more enjoyable and intense while at the same time building up a sense of anticipation for even better things to follow.
And you're right ... it takes a lot of restraint sometimes, having kickass ideas planned out for future scenes but often forcing myself to hold off for weeks until I get there in the story. It definitely motivates me to keep writing though :).
