""That was incredible, Dr. Thorp! This will be the most riveting issue-length story we've published, yet!! Although,...""
What a riotous way to end.
Author's Response: Well, I like to loosely tie all my stories, together. And, in one of my more serious wip's, I mentioned that Don Pietro had been assassinated in 1955. Epilogue 3 was just my way of slightly elaborating as to how! In the meantime; thank you for having the patience and fortitude to stick with me. It wasn't easy coming up with all that archaic slang! But, this was, after all, a salute to steampunk sci-fi. And, I wanted to be as authentic-sounding as possible!

So Bob stayed small for the rest of his life? at least he has a woman to look after him.
This has been a great story. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Author's Response: You are most welcome. :-) This is the first time one of my stories has ever reached the "100 reviews" mark. And, I thank _you_ for helping me achieve that goal!

Does Ronin have the same meaning in the 1980s DC Ronin Mini-series? (which I have but haven't read yet?) ie soldier of fortune.
Author's Response: Yes, indeed. In feudal Japan, it referred to any samurai without a master (i.e., daimyo or warlord). But, nowadays (as I understand it), it refers to a former Japanese politician who is now in-between jobs in the private sector.

Yeah! What about little Bob?
PS good thing one of the Japanese kids had a vision. had she not spoken up I suspect this story would have a much different ending.
Author's Response: Don't worry, Mr_G! I won't keep you (or Little Bob) hanging...too long. ;-)

40 Chapters. There's another good milestone.
Author's Response: In the immortal words of Elvis Presley: "Thank ya. Thank ya, very much!"

I hope she didn't hurt her face.
Author's Response: Oh, she'll get more than that. Believe me! ;-)

You managed to surprise me. I thought the end of the story was many chapters away. Glad to see the bad guys defeated.
Author's Response: I decided to split up the two story lines, by making the Hopkins Expedition the focus of a sequel. Occurring simultaneous to this story, but much further west. It might be a while, though, before I post chapter 1 of that opus. In the meantime, there are one or two more chapters of this one, still to go. So, stay tuned! ;-)

Glad to see this story contiuned. Not so glad to see Bob shrunk to three inches tall. Sorry to see Theo Wisemann killed off. At least he died a hero. Wonder how they are going to get out of this one?
Author's Response: I haven't decided, yet. As for shrinking Mr. Gabriel? Sorry, dude: but, I just couldn't resist using it as a set-up for the "shishkabob" joke! :-D

And now Peter and Sir Anthony are sharing dialogue scenes. Go go go.
Author's Response: Well, how would _you_ feel being called almost as old as a bad joke? ;-)

Camp New Hope? Was George Lucas in the back of your mind? LOL.
Author's Response: Didn't you use that joke way back in your ch. 24 review? ;-)

Another chapter by an author who aims to plaise.
Author's Response: I'm merely attempting to tie all remaining loose ends together, as I get closer to the conclusion. As all responsible authors should!

Damm, Sorry to see Bob surfering from a bite.
Hope they can perform the rescue.
Author's Response: Me, too.

obviously no relation to the lizard men from Tokk fought by the Fantastic Four on the Microworld of Dr Doom
Author's Response: Quite obviously. The tribal name is a fictional one. Coined from the Hindu words "naga" (meaning "snake") and "buru." The latter being what the Aptani people of NE India called what is now thought to have been a sub-continental species of monitor lizard related to Australia's Megalania. And which was, therefore, likewise hunted to extinction!

Meleusina. (Mel? You seen 'er?) Now you don't.
Author's Response: Good one! Although, as stated earlier, Meleusina is a genuine figure of medieval French folklore. The type that's supposed to be a fable about not jumping to hasty conclusions based on appearance, alone, etc.

I guess that happens sometimes.

Theo Wiseman reminds me of Jaz Wiseman the commentary moderator for many of the ITC British show DVD releases. I once sent him up as Wise Jazzman.

Those Mellon-choly knights are back.
Author's Response: Good one! Although, please recall that Sir Melion was a Knight of the Round Table from genuine Arthurian mythology. I did not make up his back story, what-so-ever.

Warewolf to the rescue. Glad to see the camp directors get killed off.
Your a real writing machine this week.
Author's Response: Thank you. But, I'm naturally taking Independence Day off. So, have a Happy 4th!

P.S.---picture Meleusina's lizard-woman form as resembling a half-grown version of one of those baby dinos that chased French actor Jean Reno throughout one-eighth of BRODZILLA!
Date: July 03 2013 3:37 PM Title: Chapter 34
This is a shocking twist. The camp directors are villians. Things are not looking good for the good guys.
PS. man your on a role this week.
Author's Response: I go as the inspiration hits me.
