5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Cree are go

Author's Response: Good "Thunderbirds" reference! :-) But, just in case you didn't know, the Cree are the leading tribe of Algonquian-speaking Native Americans in Canada, west of Hudson Bay. And, should not be confused with the blue-skinned E.T.'s of Marvel Comics fame!

Good to know the story's not getting Melion-choly

Author's Response: *Insert "Groan" icon here.*

Banfield meets banshee in the latest gripping instalment.

Author's Response: And, as I'm sure you've noticed, I'm trying to cut down on the over-explanatory footnotes.

Let's hope the 38 colt works.

Author's Response: LOL! You're not one of those people who thinks there's something Freudian about guns. Are you? Sometimes, a smaller caliber is just a smaller caliber!

I'm recalling the Tony Curtis 1950s Houdini movie, where he debunked a lot of fakes, but sadly, and unbiblically, he was willing to believe he could still consult his dead mother's spirit, which is impossible. The dead know nothing. (Ecclesiastes).

However, whatever happens to Peter and Sir Anthony in YOUR tale is putting me on the Peninsula .... err... map.

Author's Response: Speaking of which: I apologize in advance to any and all Canadian lurkers for the slight geographic tweaking I will be doing in the next chapter.

Oh no, not the shapeshifting sorcery bit. I'm at least as reticent on the occult as you are on my evangelical snippets.

Mind you, I wouldn't mind being in that steam train. There'd be plenty of steam coming from me, I'm sure.

Author's Response: Well, that's how these particular giantesses are doing it! But, don't totally despair. As with stage magic, nothing in this story will be as it first seems.

Now how did Mr Banfield get that knighthood? Last I heard he was eaten by Amanda. LOL.

Author's Response: Most of the characters here-in are/will be eponymous pastiches.

Loving the story so far. Looking forward to more!

Author's Response: Thank you! It's always nice to hear from a relative newcomer. Even if he or she is only new to me. ;-)

Shades of L'estrade, and look who's now a quack.

Author's Response: Holmesian/Lovecraftian crossovers seem to be all the rage, re: on-line pastiches, these days. So, I thought I'd conduct another little experiment. Fair warning, though! Chapter 2 probably won't be up until _after_ I finish THE ITSY-BITSY FIGHTER.
