Wow. This story is remarkably realistic. I like reading about how Rose seemed to be having second thoughts. But was honestly shocked when she took her own life because her guilt was to much to bear. Hope that Brent an Tom will either repent(more so Brent) or just be so consumed with their own wickedness that there will be no coming back.

Ps why is hades calling himself Satan? I only ask because it's kinda confusing having Aphrodite an Satan in the same story. But that's my only problem.
Author's Response:
Good question! My much, much longer story "The Wager" touches on the pantheon in this universe; suffice to say that in this world, pretty much every god, from Kunapipi to Jesus, exists.

This story is great an very real(aside from the goddess an Satan dealings that is). Hope that was all just a dream he was having but it seemed so real. But if it wasnt a dream what the heck will happen next? I'm very intrigued.
Hope to see more, DX.

This is definitely one of those times when life DOES NOT imitate art.

P.S.---Welcome back from hiatus.

P.S.---This _is_ a sequel to THE WAGER. Right?
Author's Response:
Yes, it is. ;)

Yes! Il Maestro is back!
I was wondering where you'd gone, DX. I was even getting paranoid that my "I.D.E.E.A. Men" crossover had permanently offended you (lol)! But, it's now obvious that you were working on another brilliant allegorical epic. And, evidently, a sequel to your last one, at that.
So, rest assured that I will be here for all subsequent chapters. And, let me be the second to wish you: "Welcome home!"
Author's Response:
I never stop writing. I just take extended, 2-3-year-long breaks from time to time....
