Mandy?!! No way dude.
Will this story never end? xD
Author's Response:
There's still plenty to go
Date: May 07 2017 1:11 PM Title: Chapter 71: Show Stealer
C'mon, Sharon, you're smarter than to conspicuously keep your seat while everyone else is standing and applauding. You can still eye-fuck Peter while politely clapping. Better not to attend at all and establish a solid alibi elsewhere. Mandy's already been questioned by the authorities, and you can't be sure she didn't name you as a provocateur.
Author's Response:
Hehe. Sharon's fearlessness can easily be compared to recklessness. As nice as it would be to have an alibi, there's always the chance Peter wouldn't have been captured if Sharon wasn't present on this night.

I feel, somehow, Sharon and her gang is behind this. Either that, or they'll save him somehow. Either way, Peter's in for a world of pain.
Ironically, i'm kinda hoping we learn a bit more about Mandy. Surely she's not one dimensionally evil. Maybe she's been abused herself. We haven't met her family yet.
Author's Response:
Definitely a fair guess. Without spoiling, Sharon is not NOT involved. And Mandy backstory is indeed finally incoming.

Yeah, he's smooth talker but if you're 5 inch tall. you've no real other option!
Author's Response:
He really doesn't

Poor Jessie!
She had a bigger case of PTSD than even Peter, himself. And in more ways than one!
Author's Response:
Peter Traumatic Stress Disorder

Gotta say Peter sure is good at talking to ladies. Sure this was his sister but even before this I've noted his way at connecting emotionally with them to get what he wants. Maybe all his years of being surrounded by doting females has given him these skills out of necessity? Who knows. But he's a smooth talker that's for sure.
Author's Response:
Peter's become very talented at rhetoric over the years as he often has to work just to be allowed to engage in normal-sized human activities.

I didn't like the previous chapter (great writing, just not a fan of that gym teacher). Loved this chapter. Of course this would be Jessica's reaction. She's a great character and shows some growth here, no matter how reluctant. Overall, Peter got the best victory he could hope for when dealing the aftermath and his family. As for Erica, she's planning something. I wouldn't put it past her to see vengeance of some kind. Well, perhaps nto vengeance, but something to ensure certain students pick on Peter less.
Author's Response:
Thanks for reviewing. Yeah sections like that one aren't for everyone. Glad you liked this chapter more. I won't spoil, but we'll see Erica get to be a true big sister before the story is over.

At first, I thought you had made a typo! But, a little re-reading proved that Peter Clark is Our Hero's full name. So, that being said, I give you top marks for showing the little guy that he still has other sources of potential trouble besides Sharon and Company. Basically extorting him into giving her another foot massage makes Coach Watson even worse than Toilet Girl, as subtle intimidation can, in a sense, be even scarier than outright attempted murder!*
*Although, I'm sure Pete might disagree with that latter point.
Author's Response:
I wondered if someone might think that at first glance. Watson just occasionally calls Peter by his last name, as many coaches might. He's definitely aware on this day especially just how many sources of trouble he has on all sides.

Wow - "Or I just took one."
Lisa's clearly more protective of Peter after the latest events, and she has no trouble showing it. It's nice to see her emerge from her shell of timidity and stand up for herself and Peter. Peter's learned to do the same, but of course he'll always need someone to back him up. His inherent weakness makes Lisa grow into a stronger person by necessity, and that's good to see.
Author's Response:
Thanks for reading! Peter and Lisa have definitely made one another more courageous

Nice to see Peter growing some teeth talking back. But Watch out for next trio's blow!
Author's Response:
Unfortunately for Peter, just watching for it may not be enough
Date: April 17 2017 1:13 PM Title: Chapter 68: Off Kilter
I don't why the Trio are so incensed? I mean, let's face it: they only seem as a helpless animal in need of rescue and adoption!*
*And they have yet to be proven NOT guilty of those two other abductions.
Author's Response:
Entitlement is a hell of a drug
Date: April 17 2017 1:13 PM Title: Chapter 68: Off Kilter
Aggression and territoriality are linked with testosterone, a hormone produced by both boys and girls.
I still don't know what Sharon's endgame is, other than a demonstration of dominance.
Author's Response:
Odds are, nobody's really going to know Sharon's endgame until she wants them to ;)

This was nothing like an apology from Sharon, but neither was this most recent bout of menacing up to her usual calculating standards. I can't escape the conclusion that Sharon didn't expect Mandy to try to kill Peter, and her own complicity (and lack of foresight) in Mandy's assault bothers Sharon on a level she can't quite access. She can't own up to it, of course, to Peter or to anyone else. I can't remember if Amy or Kimmy are also in Peter's English class, but Sharon seems to have dismissed her coterie while she collects herself. Insisting on her superiority, she reflexively contrasts her care of Peter both with Mandy's callousness and Lisa's negligence, with no other apparent goal than to reassure herself. Feeling on the defensive, she ends the encounter with a derisive barb at the most visible instance of Peter's popularity.
I've lost sight of Sharon's preferred endgame, and perhaps she's shaky on it now, too.
Author's Response:
Thanks for reviewing! Neither Amy nor Kimmy are in English with them, so it's just Peter and Sharon alone there. I won't spoil what's coming, but I will say that you're onto something about Sharon being thrown off her normal center of absolute control
Date: April 10 2017 12:52 PM Title: Chapter 67: Student Monitors
Oh man, that conversation with Sharon was absolutely tantalizing! Just how she was able to get into his head. The perfect combo of talking just right to lead him in the conversation, while getting just close enough for him to feel her breath on his back and know how powerless he is. She's like a cat teasing her prey. It was just an amazingly well executed conversation. Bravo!
Author's Response:
Glad to hear it. Most encounters with Sharon tend to go this way. Thanks for reading!
Date: April 09 2017 5:53 PM Title: Chapter 67: Student Monitors
Hoo-boy! What's Sharon's last name; Machiavelli???
Author's Response:
Might as well be, since I don't give her one in this story
Date: April 03 2017 7:24 PM Title: Chapter 66: Mama Bear
Mandy might be suspended. But, somehow, I don't think "the greatest threat under this roof" is gone.
Author's Response:
;)

really enjoyed the story, keep it up
Author's Response:
Thanks!
Date: April 03 2017 7:41 AM Title: Chapter 66: Mama Bear
I dont see how Mandy wouldnt be kicked out, she almost killed the guy! As long as shes around Peter will never be safe! In fact I think her punishment should be WORSE, as in, send her to juvy or something!
Author's Response:
You're probably not alone in feeling that way. Ultimately Peter just has to cross his fingers
Date: April 03 2017 6:25 AM Title: Chapter 66: Mama Bear
Good story so far. Maybe an unaware scene for a little bit would be nice. something to spice up the story a little bit more. like an unaware teacher or something.
Author's Response:
There will probably be an unaware scene later on
Date: April 02 2017 8:07 PM Title: Chapter 21: Vixen Advice
Oh my, who should Peter trust? I know I have some catching-up to do, but I wanted to pop in to tell you I enjoyed this chapter in particular. I find it representative of some of the things I've enjoyed about the story in general. You've commended me before on my restraint. Let me just say that Peter's interactions with Ms. Tritter are just heavenly, exemplars of the power of subtlety.
Sharon I find interestingly complex. Mandy is her foil as the unpredictable, genuinely scary one. Sharon is still threatening, but somehow less so. Even endearing, in an odd way. I'm hoping she's sincere, and turns into the friend who gets Peter to take some fun risks. In any case, I trust the 'smith to weave an engrossing tale, and look forward to following Peter's high school haps.
Author's Response:
Good to see ya back on the site. I'm glad to hear you like the quieter moments of this story. Those are often some of my favorite parts of this genre. Thanks for reviewing
