If only he could roll that ball back home with the SPEED of an El Dorado!
Author's Response:
Unfortunately there are stairs: the natural enemy of the ball

you've got me so damn far off the edge of my seat my balls are touching the floor!! Totally digging this story, I can't contain my anticipation for the next update!
Author's Response:
Good to hear. There will be more of this coming soon, I've just been distracted by other stories recently.

Wow, if Sharon set this up to position herself as rescuer, it's a high-risk strategy. Mandy might seriously injure or kill Peter before he's "rescued," and Mandy could also say something that would implicate Sharon.
A lot turns on Sharon's ultimate motives. I can't think she simply wants Peter harmed; I think she wants him dependent. On her.
Or she just likes the sensation of having a five-inch-tall person in her hand (and elsewhere?).
Author's Response:
As usual, I'll vaguely say you're right about some things here and some not. But it's absolutely valid to think that Mandy is the kind of wild-card who couldn't really be entrusted with a vital part of a plan.

It wouldn't surprise me if Sharon set this up so she could save the day. Easy scapegoat in Mandy and a new way to guilt Peter into being nice to her.
On another note I only just found this story on Tuesday and have plowed through to the end already. Great stuff.
Author's Response: I'll just keep my lips zipped shut. And kudos on consuming that many words in a short time span. I'm glad you're enjoying the story.

I haven't been this frightened of a basement since Buffalo Bill's. While Peter's been doing a fair job keeping Mandy in a non-punitive mood, there's still a lot of accidental peril. I doubt that basement is arthropod-free.
Author's Response:
It rubs the giant spiders on its skin or else it gets the hose again

No doubt, jacksmith is gifted to write disburbed character ! Good chapter!
Author's Response:
Thanks!

I suppose Mandy half-on her meds is better than _completely_ off her rocker!
But, not by much.
Author's Response:
Unfortunately Mandy's in a constant state of on and off

Clearly Mandy has issues -- mental issues. She seeing a psych, taking medication, etc. The only silver lining: these same issues may blind her to the obvious, i.e., her house will be the first one police visit as she's instantly the prime suspect given her prior behavior around Peter.
I have a hunch that Sharon, of all people, will ring Mandy's doorbell before the police. Will she rescue Peter? Well, she'd definitely be a step up from Mandy in terms of safety. Looking forward to more!
Author's Response:
You're right to think so about the disadvantages and small silver lining. The whole situation is a gamble for Peter, if he can play it right.
We may not quite see that happen with Sharon, but I'd also be lying if I said she wouldn't have a good guess about where Peter is at this moment.

Bad, bad very bad. Turn all safety alarms on! :o
Author's Response:
You can say that again

Given the way she was fondling his costume, just now, Mandy will probably be toying with Peter Rabbit's "carrot stick," next.
Author's Response:
He'll just have to hope she doesn't feel like going at it like rabbits, too.

Very nice handheld molestation scene. Blind fumbling followed by bare-bulb examination. In fact, a little pocket frottage is exactly the sort of thing that high schoolers should getting into. I'll bet Lisa would love it, holding Peter in her pocket and trying to guess what he's doing (presuming Peter isn't too traumatized by this experience).
Not Sharon's cup of tea, however; she'll want to shine those silver spotlights on Peter and drink up every bit of his terror.Author's Response:
Odds are, Peter's had a fantasy or two about what you're describing with Lisa by now. And that's a very correct distinction between how Mandy and Sharon handle themselves.

What's wrong with this girl? Doesn't she know that if anything happens to Peter SHE is the obvious suspect? Why is she so focused on him anyway, he didn't even really do anything to her other than tell people the creepy shit she'd been doing before. I'm starting to see why Peter's mother is a paranoid mess all the time, how is it THIS easy for these thing to happen to him?
Author's Response:
You're absolutely right to think this about the risk Mandy is taking, and it's something Peter is counting on as well. While there's still a fairly regular danger that Peter will be in harm's way, we'll see soon that this was not a mere random act.

Ok, Jack. Lets see where this is going than. ;) Lets see who really manipulates our stalker and if it is somebody new or somebody that acted nice all the time but isn't.
Author's Response:
The coming chapters will see Peter attempting to puzzle it all out

Ha! Ms. Watson is... interesting. I share Peter's sentiments about the idea of Ms. Watson getting more "friendly" towards him. I'm laughing right now at how genuinely uncomfortable this chapter has made me (in a good way).
Author's Response:
Oh good. It's definitely supposed to be a bittersweet chapter for readers.

Author's Response:
Thanks, glad you like it. There's plenty more to come. Including more Sharon.

The last couple chapters were great. I'm excited for the next!

Mandy found again her little fairy.
Author's Response:
She did indeed

Peter and the people around him come over as dumb now. I like how you write psychological scenes, sometimes onesided and sometimes with the right mix. But this transition is just weird. The choices don't feel relatable.
Author's Response:
It's true more attention could be paid to Peter by authority figures, but there's much more going on here than just negligence.
Date: May 08 2017 3:45 AM Title: Chapter 1: Separation Anxiety
2 kidnapping already it's starting to be too much. I'd not to be in the school's principal boot now lol.
Author's Response:
The first kidnapping was more spontaneous. This one was not so random
Date: May 07 2017 7:58 PM Title: Chapter 71: Show Stealer
Looks like Round 2 to the Fearsome Foursome. :-(
Author's Response:
Peter's just got to get a second wind.
