Peter definitely has his hopes, but he's trying to suppress them as much as possible to avoid disappointment. Nervous as he is, though, it's likely Lisa isn't very confident either.

Lovely chapter. Peter getting some alone time with a cutie pie is much deserved if you ask me, especially after all the crap hes been through! Love this story, its my favorite of yours but the one that is least updated, its okay though, it makes each update feel special!

Despite the lack of M&M's, that was awfully sweet.
Thankfully, neither Peter nor Lisa seem to be Economist subscribers, so we were spared a Bitcoin joke.
Given the number of nerve-endings in the fingertip, Lisa can likely discern almost every movement and flex of Peter's tiny hand. The MPAA might call that G-rated, but I don't, and I doubt Peter or Lisa would, either.

Yay! An update! I thought you'd left this story for a while but man am I glad you're still writing away! It's good to see Peter interact with a guy for once, too- Calvin seems like the type of friend Peter should be having right now, and it makes the whole story more believable.
