There is a real lack of goofy stories on this site. I have tried making my own contributions but I fear they are not comical enough to be considered goofy even if I'm known to do the stupidest things.

I remember an old friend of mine I bumped into the other week was telling me how nice the certain leafy green plants you mention are. This story reminded me not to do drugs.

I should mention I don't think you need a captial letter when you start the sentance drecribing how a chracter spoke. It's judt a trival thing but since you asked for feedback... I'm not entrily sure myself but I reckon it's good pratise and my spell.grammar checker in Word seems to agree most of the time so it's something to consider.
