Lurker here. I know it's been almost a decade since this series was last updated, but I felt like I had to leave a review.
I picked this series up around a year ago, and nothing I've read on this site had or has had me on the edge of my seat quite like this one. Everything about the series is incredible. It's titled "After Shrink High," but this could literally be a standalone novel. I read this around 600,000-word series in like a week because it is genuinely such an incredible story. It's been a year, but this series - its plot, its characters, its narration, its descriptions - still live rent-free in my head. I know this is corny, and maybe it's because I haven't read an actual "good" story in forever (actually, it probably is because of that), but I genuinely felt transported to this world when I read it, right next to Sanders and Pyrrha and everyone else. Just thinking about this series right now still evokes a flurry of emotions, mainly anger towards the Society. This story is set in Georgia, but somehow, through its descriptions of the setting, it makes Georgia somehow seem grand and the setting actually post-apocalyptic. The second act is especially well made, having me on the edge of my seat the entire time, rooting for Sanders & Co. I could go on and on about how incredible this series is, but I'll stop here. Thank you for creating this series.
All that's to say, I was (and still am) so devastated that this never saw its conclusion. How will Sanders & Co. get out of the hands of "Captain Freeman?" How do they get the Swords and Shields to realize the truth? Will Morgan make a comeback? Even if they do get the people in this Atlanta branch of the Society to realize the truth, how will they deal with the other branches and un-shrink everyone? Will characters from the OG Shrink High appear? Why is Lutice such a bitch?
I know that these questions will probably never be resolved, but I truly hope to be proven wrong someday, maybe by an official comeback or an unofficial continuation by someone else. I know I'm currently just shouting into the void, writing an incoherent, rant-like review again in the middle of the night, but I truly hope this could get finished someday. After all, these guys still have a world to save! But for now, it can go back into the recesses of my mind again.

Pyrrha has hit the nail right on the head when she verbally dismantled Aviel so analytically, I celebrated it quite hard.
Incredibly jealous of your ability to tell stories and to give so much depth to your characters. Can't help but catching myself hoping for a new chapter each time it has been a few weeks. Your story is alive.

Another great chapter! I'm glad to see Dionne again even if it's in this state! It's felt like this story has been stuck in Rome for a while huh? As regards this chapter? Jody's confession was suitably startling. Did not see that coming, at all! I also liked Samantha's brevet promotion. She can now command troops and, yet, still feel like an enlisted grunt.*

Sort of a boring chapter to be honest, I was hoping that since we got abit of downtime we'd get some sander x pyrra time but no dice. Oh well. It was well written tho, I DID like the part with Gabby, it really struck a cord with me, I guess she's not an invincible steel woman after all...Everyone has their breaking point. Anyway, kinda sucks that we wont be getting another chapter for a while but i'll be keeping an eye out for this short story of yours...

Also, what happened to Morgan? She only appeared in Act 1, and I'm wondering if she's gonna make an appearance in this act.

Well Ollie is just a radioman and tends to stay well away from the battlefield. Helps keep himself safe and not caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.
And that is a good question which we will be answered. All I will say, is we haven't seen the last of Morgan.
