This story is very well told overall, but I absolutely hate the way it ended.

An innocent person was kidnapped, imprisoned, berated, nearly mutilated, tortured and humilated, repeatedly threatened with death, and finally, violently raped. Then only a week later and the victim is actively seeking to forgive their abuser when they have shown no signs of remorse. Not only that but the victim says their abuser is, and I quote, "not evil" just because they were abused themselves. In the end the rapist still hasn't even appologised, and is said to be unlikely to ever do so, and yet the implication is they will get off scott free. The story even frames that in a positive light. Unbelieveable.

I assume this is because of the double standard against male rape vicitms, which is why I used gender neutral pronouns in the above paragraph, to help people see how frankly fucked up this is.

I swear there needs to be a rape category on this site. I've read less than a handful of stories so far and I've already read two that not only had rape scenes, from the victim's perspective even, but explicitly called it out as rape - in stories with the "Gentle" tag!

Aaw.that was just adorable the way that they both love and care for each other. What a great way to cap off this incredible imaginative story.
Are planning on doing a sequel with 'out of the woods' next, or something new, or perhaps a well deserved rest? Only time will tell. At any rate hope you enjoyed this review.

great story... and the only loose end i can think of is that alex has to repay megan for her extreme kindness and generosity... hope its foot related(but thats me, lol) anyways whatever may come of the next chapter will be much appreciated.

Man don't know what I can possibly say in this review because its like I would never be able to put into words how great this tale actually is. Very believable, love how this tale is progressing. Can't help but think about poor Emily, and what she's going through. Also, has Diane realized anything is amiss?

The quest is on. Love the fact that he's going to brave the perils of the outside. Great ending, keep thinking that his love for Emily must be the stuff dreams are made of, I know I would've submitted to Diane by now. Will emily's friends come into play now, only time will tell.

Ps the feet scenes are great. Hope you put in some more.
