As I read your story, I could visualize every scene and emotion so clearly it felt cinematic. That inspired me to ask: what if we turned it into a comic? Wow this is a pretty interesting idea and the way you are executing it is pretty cool. Even if I had see stories like this (furaffanity, Sofia.exe comes to mind) I guess could be neat read a story coming frm the 2 points of view)

M only question is, we will see the per spective of wild micros in the story and see how intelligebt they can be?

Author's Response:

We absolutely will see that! Quite coincidentally, there will be wild micros in the next chapter which I expect I'll get out on Monday, as it's a longer one. The main thing that I'm keeping in mind when writing the micros here is that while there have been millenia of micro cultural (and intellectual!) development, they are strictly limited in their capacity to develop by the presence and whims of the apex predators that have taking over the world's ecosystem. This may lead to some results about which micro groupings are the most "developed" that are, from a human perspective, surprising, since humanity taking notice of micros in many cases has been a fatal Outside Context Problem to any group previously lucky enough to be largely undisturbed by humans for decades, centuries or more.

As I say, the next part will explore this more!

I hadn't checked out Sofia.exe, but having looked that looks right up my street, thanks! I love building a world from artifacts and documents within that world. It's definitely a format with a lot of history behind it (hell, to stay just within web fiction, a *huge* amount of SCP Foundation stories are like that). I am aware, though, that most people want to read some smut. I've always liked my smut dark as pitch and edging into horror, so while there definitely will be some more 'action' in coming chapters, the main thrust of the story is about the horrors inflicted on a species that humanity has assessed to be non-sentient. I frontloaded the vivisection so that anybody for whom that was a no-go would get an early warning and could duck out.

My standalone story that I wrote recently, "EHRS", is set in this universe inasmuch as that was the story I wrote and then realised I wanted to explore the setting more. If you want to get a look at how non-lab micros *could* act in this setting, (albeit, I only really had the germ of all of the details when I wrote EHRS so don't take it as gospel) you could check that out - I think it's pretty good!. I hope you enjoy the rest of this story!
