As I read your story, I could visualize every scene and emotion so clearly it felt cinematic. That inspired me to ask: what if we turned it into a comic? I'm a professional digital artist and I take commissions. If you're interested feel free to contact me on Discord: avenia_draws

In Homer's "The Odyssey," Ulysses had been similarly limited in his two choices; either Scylla or Charybdis.

Congrats, Andy! You've created a Swedish Frankenstein.

I wonder if Sauron would've been this way with a captive Galadriel?

I wonder how long it'll take him to adopt a whole new set of hobbits (I mean, habits!)?

Very solid depiction of a lopsided relation between two damaged indyviduals. Olivia's actions are despicable, no matter what her past experiences might have been. She completely disregards Andy's humanity and treats him with casual cruelty. Traumatic events are catalysts and bring forth our true selves; only a truly vile person would condemn another the way she did.
Andy is (probably) less at fault for his current predicament, as seeking help and being honest about basic facts is a rational stance when faced with unexplainable phenomenon. He found some resolve, but will it be enough to change anything?
Author's Response:
I really appreciate this review. You’re absolutely right, trauma doesn't excuse cruelty. It often just reveals the cracks in a person's foundation. Olivia is definitely showing how having absolute power can corrupt, and it isn't pretty. It’s a fine line to walk, making her a three-dimensional character without sympathizing with her actions. I’m also glad you picked up on Andy’s perspective; he’s trying to apply logic to a completely illogical nightmare, and seeing how that holds up is going to be a major part of his journey. Thanks for the feedback

Great story, can’t wait to see where it goes!

So, the little guy was overcompensating, too? By being too submissive out of the mistaken belief that he'd been too controlling with Tiffany?
Author's Response:
Yes, you've absolutely nailed it. In his past relationship with Tiff, Andy was always the "fix-it" man, struggling to allow her to be her own autonomous person.
With Olivia, that trauma manifests in the worst possible way. He ignores the red flags because he's drawn to the familiar echo of Tiff, desperate to reclaim the connection he lost. He falls squarely into an anxious attachment style, driven by a deep-seated fear of not being useful and a core belief that he is, and never will be, "enough."
Thank you for seeing it so clearly. It's the tragic engine of his entire character arc.

Moral of the story: when it comes to drowning a shrunken man in a woman's stomach, wine is fine...but liquor is quicker.

So, on one side, we have Andy. Gilted at the altar by a female commitment-phobe.(too often considered a male monopoly) named Tiffany. And, on the other, we have Olivia. Whose recent desertion by her domineering unfaithful ex-boyfriend has left her feeling understandably bitter and over-compensatory.*
And what brought them together? A strange object on the beach. Could it have been some kind of extra-terrestrial, A.I. space probe that crashed to Earth on the southern California coast in pre-Columbian times? What Giorgio Tsoukalos might call the "ancient astronaut version of a genie in a bottle?"
Only the subsequent posting of chapter ten (the same number as the amount of points I just awarded this story) might answer that for us. See you then.

Great story, if one on the darker side of things! The story feels very intimate and delves into both main characters' psyches (and what a mess they are!). A highlight of recent weeks!

Damn I’m loving this story so far, but I gotta ask. Will there be potential romance between the two. Also thanks for the chapters

Damn that was a nice little twist there in the end that I wasn’t expecting. Enjoying the story a lot so far and really wanna see how these characters play out since they both seem a bit ‘fractured’ on the inside.
Author's Response:
I’m glad the twist caught you off guard. Both of them are fractured in different ways, and watching how those fractures shape perception is very much the heart of the story.
Thanks for sticking with it so far.

A nice chapter, but if Andy is invulnerable, Olivia could sit with her bottom on top of Andy's little lap, and that must please them both so much that Olivia would ultimately always want to sit on top of his little lap.

Wow, I hope the two of them kiss and cuddle, and that Andy is allowed to sleep between Olivia's breasts at night and that she lets him cuddle on top of her belly.

And then what? Hopefully it will be a beautiful, gentle, loving love story.
Author's Response:
I’m glad you felt something from the first chapter. I hope the journey earns your patience.
