Wow, I’m flat out impressed with this story so far. Especially with descriptive everything is. From the shop itself to each character, you paint a vivid picture for me to visualize and it’s fun to read. 

The only downside is that given that we are already 4 chapters in and each chapter is quite lengthy, not much plot happens much which is fine when I’m binging each chapter, but I believe that each chapter might just have about a scene or 2 and I might be hoping for more. 

Also, love the setting. This salon/barbershop place is something that I don’t see too many stories in this setting so it’s a nice refreshing take. It helps me personally because I also go to this one hair cutting place only because there is an older woman who I love having her cut my hair too, so it’s easy to relate to Derek in this scenario. 

Kaylee is flat out amazing! I like her friendly yet flirty demeanor and there is this subtle behavior that can leave any client of hers feeling charmed by her presence. The details of how she touches his hair, grazes his neck, grasping his chin. It’s amazing! Every little touch is electric and I believe it’s so relatable for me. 

But yeah, so far, I’m really enjoying the story and I can’t wait for the next chapter!
