Though it is the penultimate chapter, it will more or less serve as the story's "grand finale."

I don't intend to post anything that I think will diminish the story's quality. XD
If that means delivering things a little late, then so be it.
With that said, my current outline leaves me with four chapters remaining, which I anticipate being about 10k words collectively, give or take a couple thousand.
That's doable for me in two days, but time will tell. I still have to go to the effort of proofreading, editing, and formatting.

Honestly, I thought this chapter was probably too dark and might kill the mood, but it was thematically important to me and I feel like I owe to Kali to explain her background and perspective a little more. Some of this stuff will come up again later.
