This story needs a (psychological?) horror tag. I'm not sure I could claim to like any of the characters, but the protagonist's perspective was tragic and sickening enough that I had to see it through the end. And end it thankfully did, in a way. I can't see a sequel improving things, but I'd have no choice but to read it.

Right now, though, I need a palate cleanser, with hopefully something sweeter, after.

Perhaps most impressive of all, is the fact I genuinely can't tell if you have a giant breast fetish or not. I'd rather not know, at the moment.

Great work, my only complaint is that the goddess/greater size metaphor started feeling a bit repetitive towards the end, but that's minor (esp. on this site).

So: not my cup of tea, still drank it all; what the fuck.

After reading the epilogue; I got to say that sometime in the future I hope for a sequel.

Not the ending I expected; but a great way to leave an open world!

Thanks for an amzing story

Honestly not really a story that usually fits my tastes of the genre but I've really enjoyed this one!

I love the mystery, the characters and the unfolding plot are all very engaging, really getting to grips with an alien language like this feels like it could easily lose an audience but you handle it with a deft touch and its isolating effect it has on your main 'Human' characters really travels to reader and helps us understand their perspective more deeply.

I feel like the story is nearing its end, with Rikka starting to realize her feelings for Arabella and all.

Still, I hope Lydia will face her comeuppance for the mistreatement of both Rikka and her son before the end !

And that storms seems too litteral to be true.

This story is seriously impressive.

The fish out of water setting lends itself super well to making Rikka a great audience stand-in and is written to have the perfect amount of wonder and inquisitiveness in trying to decipher the environment she's in. Her astuteness makes her all the more engaging seeing her read between the lines of Johan's outright lies or lies by omission (I loved the part where she figured out that Vu was saying Johan's name).

Speaking of, Johan is also fascinatingly characterized. He's understandably cynical and averse to trying to assimilate to the culture after what he's lost and he's even more of the odd one out as the only male on the island.

My favorite part is how well you capture the foreignness of the giant's culture and the pace things are being learnt. Even seeing where there are gaps of information where Johan maybe misinformed in his understanding and perhaps (speculating) there maybe areas where Lydia is misinformed.

Rikka of course is most in the dark and has to use her wits to figure things out as she goes. Johan learning what he has through through trial, error, and observing. Lydia learning by integrating with the giant's culture as best she can.

The fact none of them can fluently communicate with them or know all the nuances their culture adds an interesting foreboding, where new information could easily and drastically warp their understanding with how their society functions.

Great work so far.

Well, I'm hooked. Wouldn't be surprised of Lydia got a few things inaccurately as well. Anyway, great and patient writing, thank you for this undertaking!

I usually dont comment on stories but this one is really good!

I love the pacing and the multiple possibilities to develop the story.

Checking daily to see if there is a new chapter up!

Thanks for all the hardwork you must have put into creating this fantastic island.

It is now clear : I am hooked and I want to read so much more ! There is so many questions I have but that I feel will be answered soon in-story.

I feel bad for Johan, the poor guy saw his dad die, his mother and sister grow into giantess and he remained alone as a little human. It must've have been really bad for his psyche.

I really like where it's going.

I have some theories about the female member of Johan's family and what they may have become (helped by the tags) but I wonder if the story will truly go that way or not.

Keep going, please !
