 What does Philo look like anyway? I think I missed her general description, and on that note,if your able, your shopmeuld consider creating AI images of your charcaters and putting them in a gallery then linking it, I've seen a few authors do similar and its always useful.

Fast on the updates as well, I ssume these chapters are pre-written? 

The queen may be a little lighter on the hate for her daughter, but clearly, she doesn't particuarly care as much as she wants to believe she does about Philo if she thinks a talk will resolve what is years of neglect/abuse. The kings worse, obviously, but honestly its no suprise Philo doesn't care for her parents or most people given how she is usually treated. I honestly can't wait to see when they find out her secret, I know someone is going to try reasoning or force to take her in and I can't wait to see them get verbally and physically torn to shreds by Philo, she may not show much in the way of how her upbringing affected her, but I seriously doubt she doesn't have alot of pent up emotions to let loose.

That said, its interesting how outside the capital people don't seem to know her reputation, she actually seems to have a fairly positive rep with the average person due to her aid in stopping famines, droughts, etc. Can't wait to see how her family takes that fact and how they plan to resolve it when people get angry when they realise their princess is mistreated for something thats basically not her fault.

I mention it a bit in the beginning and a few details throughout, though it is intentional that her appearance isn't talked about much. She has a poor body image and constantly covers up, so it's very hidden. But bullet points of her looks, she's 4'10", has long dark blue hair, deep gold eyes, a very thin frame, several scars across her face. She typically has her hair covering her face except for slit for one eye to see out, or recently she's been wearing a white veil that goes over her face. She typically wears a baggy mage robe that's white with gold trimming. I've done ai stuff to give character refs before, but ai does NOT like specific scars lol 

I literally started writing this series last week, I've just had tons of inspiration lol. I'm up to chapter 8 right now, I just have some friends give a look over before I post 

Queen definitely thinks she's a good parent. Very much the type that believes because she's not outright abusive, everything is fine. Doesn't see a problem with being grossly negligent. As for Philomel's emotional state...gotta stick around and see how it goes XP 

Lastly, it's not so much that everyone outside of the capital is nice. Next chapter goes over that Esma is rather sheltered and genuinely didn't know. The capital is 100% the most saturated in those bad rumors, but a lot of big cities know about her. It's mainly a difference of people that believe rumors vs believe in results/what they actually see

Great story so far!  Definitely looking forward to more and the use of those tags (especially the unaware tag).

I'm currently working on 4 chapters for it atm. The next one is basically done, just needs a little editing.
