Unfortunately, Earth politicians would rather nuke the world down than admit to even being second place on the food chain before predators like Melissa. Not because a nuke would kill less people than Melissa's stomach or because they would do the same thing if people were burning inside a concentration camp rather than inside Melissa, but because they'd rather die and take you all with them than admit to their egos that they lost control in any way, even if their rule in general continued over the prey population.

You can't tell me I'm wrong.
