Thanks for the review! Yeah, I wrote this as a sort of whimsical story. No deep characters or imagery, just a somewhat ditzy girl with power she doesn't deserve. 

My main ambition was to write a Christmas-themed giantess story, but I took on the secondary task of subverting the "woman grows big and becomes evil" trope. We're introduced to Nicole as a benevolent figure, but it becomes clearer as the story goes on that she was never actually benevolent in the first place. She just thinks of herself that way and nobody has ever told her otherwise. And when somebody finally does, she doesn't appreciate it. She's really just a spoiled brat who's only interested in preserving toys to play with and doing just enough to make sure Santa gives her whatever she wants at the end of the year. 

I'm loving your story, "Just This Once," by the way. I'm looking forward to more of that. Thanks again!
