Despite the rising tension of upcoming macro destruction I've really enjoyed the odd couple vibe between the two lead characters, there's a mundanity that makes the absurdness and teasing really work for me.
The fact Daheera has had an actually positive impact on Jake is all the funnier, he's become quickly more assertive and confident - but will that be enough is what I can't wait to find out.

Hello ! Thank you for your insights, i'm happy that Daheera and Jake's dynamic works. I'm also really enjoying their development.
And yes, the plot and Daheera's actions will definitely cause some positive changes in Jake's personality, although they mostly happen despite what she's doing, and derive more from his regrets and moral conflict. That said, despite having tricked him in doing exactly what she needed to be free, the hellhound is definitely starting to care about Jake, she just wants to do it on her own terms.
Which also means, as we will see in the next chapters, being free to treat the other mortals however she likes. He might be on a slightly more equal footing with her in her mind, but this doesn't extend to the rest of the humans.

Well, as I hinted in the first chapter, Daheera's true size is in the several hundred feet region, so things could get pretty crazy in that regard. I'm not sure the humans will like it much, but that's not really what the demoness is concerned about. As for Jake...well, that's complicated...

I'll keep it short.
My one and only disappointment was realizing that I had finished reading it, and that I must wait to be able to read the next part.
But seriously, it was very good!
The premise alone is exciting, and this first chapter is well written in my opinion.
I particularly like the dynamic between Jake and Daheera.
A poor, pathetic young human who, for some puerile reason, summons a giant demoness.
A hellhound (or Cerberus daughter), as powerful as she is sexy, terrifying and hungry (in more than one sense), but with a sweet, cute side.
Very promising stuff! Great work!
I'll end by saying that, knowing the content of the next chapters, stuff I've got a weakness for, and this first chapter. Having to wait is already unbearable for me.

I wasn't sure about the characters, they are pretty different than the protagonists i usually write about, so i was a bit worried, but I'm glad I managed to get their main traits across, and create an engaging dynamic.
Regarding the following chapters, I'm already drafting them, and i can say that while the more violent part will not be there for a couple more, there will be some interesting content and developments in the meantime. So stay tuned, I promise it will be worth ! Lets just say that when Daheera will manage to get out of her indentured servitude, she will have a lot more freedom in doing what she wants.
