So I'm guessing the only way he's gonna be able to convince his parents that he doesn't actually sectly . This is to kill himself. I'm surprised he hasn't even been thinking about it. Or he could run away I'm surprised you didn't mention. I'd rather kill myself than move in with you at the end of the last chapter. And where's Grandma in all this? Like I'm sure that she would actually be making the family. Make him bake and because she knows how hard it is on him.

I'm loving how stark the dehumanisation is, and yet they are totally oblivious to it, he's clearly got an uphill struggle he won't win but I'm rooting for him to find a new 'balance' that he can work with in the longterm - or not! haha.

Interesting so far! Can I ask, how depressing is it going to get? Claire’s reveal surprised me, and his family seems to be turning pretty fast too. Are they going to lighten up or is this more of a “bad-end” story? Did Claire’s husband really fear everything, or did he just refuse to debase himself to her?

Whether or not the story has a ‘bad-end’ will depend on whether the main character learns to embrace his new size and accept that he is no longer equal to the rest of the family. The way he’s treated by the giants varies from character to character, and I’m looking forward to writing and sharing how his relationship with the family changes.

Regarding Claire’s husband, I suppose the answer is both. Hopefully the main character heeds her advice.

P.S. I saw your advice about the italics and I take it on board, but I’ve come too far to go back now haha

The slow burn 'natural' feeling in a size stories feels so rare at times to come across, but its always been my favourite.

I'm really enjoying the characters and setting here especially as a fellow person from England's north (well, assuming you are!)

Pretty good start and nice cast of characters for what seems like a long-form story. I can see Ashleigh becoming a problem in the future and Bexi becoming protective. Sarah sounds like a caring mother, and Josh is a real bro. All the other characters are questionable to me.

I'm really curious what the MCs final size is gonna be and what his adventures are gonna be like. Again, something gives me a bad feeling about Ashleigh, lol.
