At least she could be an inconvenience. I quite hoped that it would end differently. Michelle was the only somewhat decent character, which makes this quite the sad torture snuff story. At least she went with more dignity than Alyssa lived by.

Alyssa definitely deserves her comeuppance. She's a monster and monsters deserve to be slain. Definitely in the most gruesome way possible, taking as long as possible, so her whole existence will turn into the begging for relief that will never come. Yes, it's a clichéd phrase, but there's little else to even come close to the proper punishment for scum as undeserving of existence as this woman. Slow and painful as everything else would still be too good for her.

It's always kinda strange how physics for minis don't seem to apply. A being with this small a body at the same gravity would be capable of quite a bit more than they are granted. Yet at least minis should be enabled to give room for their hatred. As I wrote before, as often Michelle was unsupervised, she could have put rat poison into her cornflakes, sewaged toothpicks into her eyes, filled her inner eardrums with grubs, opened her belly button and filled it with crap, and so much more.

Minis are able to go anywhere with little to no supervision. The immune don't have the kind of power they are made out to be. Especially, if there's a gradual shrinking going, as many would go for deadly violence far beyond this point. No matter what this story says, Alyssa made too many enemies. She's a dead woman walking. Someone will come for her before this freak would turn the tables. And hell, she deserves so much worse than what a merely afraid person can do.

If anything, it's probably an achievement of the story to create a character that owns so much hate that it makes one seeth in anger. I'll now return to the gory pictures of Alyssa in my head. So many more scenarios to play through how I have my headcanon to end this story.

I don't think any other writer has the ability to give that 'sinking feeling' of dread as well as you do, every story you've written has that tension to the extreme as you know its never really ended well for the littles (maybe Tiffany and Rebecca but that's a rare exception), poor Michelle...!
