This chapter was adorable! Penelope is definitely growing on me. I love that Mildred is getting used to her personality, and she just laughs when Penelope goes all...well, Penelope.
I wonder if this is your story's version of leveling up. Like, why Mildred became better at healing.
But yeah, another very fun chapter to read. Thanks again for writing this! Looking forward to the next one! <3

Pardon being late to the party, I have been lost in mundane activities. And so, I find myself in a little bit of a pickle, as a story of such quality deserves to be revied on a daily basis - and I obviously cannot travel back in time to give it the love it deserves in past time instants. Mhmmmmm...
I promise to do better when new chapters are released. A true gem of a story outlining characters motivations and perspectives. I, Curvograph, pledge myself to thee as a true fan!

A great story, a story I look forward to reading more of.

Loved this episode, as always! There were very cute interactions, and it was very fun to read.
I was just as surprised as Penelope when Mildred called the soldiers. I super didn't expect that. I get that she's supposed to be a very lawful character, but this felt somewhat...off. I don't know, I didn't think she'd be that kind of person. I don't know how I feel about that.
But I still love her and I still want to hug her. Great job, can't wait for the next chapter! <3
Author's Response:
Mildred's brand of justice isn't as clear cut as one might expect. She's also fallible, even more so when riled up. You'll see more of her morality as the story progresses.
Thanks! Hope you'll enjoy the next one even more.

Oh, my goodness. Mildred makes me melt. I just want to hug her and tell her everything is going to be okay.
I really liked this chapter. It was fun to read. And Penelope is (very) slowly becoming more likeable, so that's also nice.
Looking forward to the next one! Great job, as always!
Author's Response:
Reading this as I upload chapter 4, I worry about what it'll do to you. Please don't hate me for it!
Glad you liked it! Penelope is a complicated character, with many issues, but I'm happy she's growing on you.
Thanks, Wholia!

Loved this chapter! It was a cute start for them to begin bonding. Mildred is a sweetie, I like her even more now.
I wonder why clerics are so hated there. I'm curious about that.
I also wonder what they intend to do if they catch up with the others. They're all clearly more powerful than them, and they also hate both of them. It seems to me like it'd be better to let them sell the book and then try to get it from whoever bought it. But we'll see!
Author's Response:
I just uploaded chapter 3 which should answer many of your questions. I hope you enjoy it!
The rest of your questions... Well, you'll just have to wait and see :)

I'm a huge fan of D&D. I play a lot, actually. I even thought about writing a story like this, but I never got to it. So I'm really happy that someone else did! Especially someone whose stories I like very much.
Love D&D, love your stories, this is a match made in Heaven. I can't wait to see what happens next.
PS: I LOVE Mildred. She's adorable. And she sounds like the kind of character I would play, actually. I know Penelope isn't supposed to be likeable yet, but I expect a lot of character development there.
Author's Response:
Another review from Wholia? My day has been made!
I'm also a big DnD nerd, which is a big part of why I wanted to tell this story. I'm so honored you enjoy my work! I will do everything I can to not disappoint.
(Glad you like Mildred! Hopefully Penelope grows on you too)

Great start, I'm surprised the group just left her instead of teasing her some more, especially Alice.
I'm a huge fan of Magna Gratia (who isn't?) and I'll be keeping an eye out for this one :)
Author's Response:
Thank you, Darc! I think the party did that because, deep down, they worried she might return to normal and punish them for it. After all, the woman has never been knocked down for long, and she's very spiteful.
I'm so glad you enjoyed MG! There will be more to come, someday. For now, I hope you'll support this story and keep sharing your thoughts on it.
