That's some volume 1. With lots of surprises. Makes one wonder what's in volume 2.

Was not expecting Deborah Law to show up in your story.
Author's Response: Well, ever since I read in your pilot story (the now-classic I MARRIED A SIZECHANGER) that Deborah had once been a Sitmobtian, I've been wondering what _specifically_ motivated her to get out of the shrunken-human pet trade. So, I dramatized my own personal hypothesis. Whether or not you assimilate it into your offical canon is, of course, strictly your prerogative.

Edgar Allan Crow? That's a good one. Does he "croak" when he dies? :)
Author's Response: Quoth the fish crow: "Uh-uh-uh!"

Timescribe's enjoying this.
Looks like you have borrowed one of modelmrs' characters too. I guess she'd be honoured.
Author's Response: I borrowed her setting. But, Mrs. Crammett-Downs is strictly mine own! If, however, modelmrs someday incorporates that character into one of her own canonical stories, I won't holler "plagiarism." No more than H.P. Lovecraft and Clark Ashton-Smith did, with each other.

Witty as ever, as usual.
I'm hoping to find out what happens in the home economics class... (or better still home science...)
Date: March 05 2010 2:57 AM Title: Chapter 25
Home economics class!
I must say I absolutely love that surprise ending, and the obvious implications. It'll be fun seeing you FLESH out this part of the story.
Author's Response: Thank you. For some reason, I mentally picture Rosie Perez as the home-ec teacher.

Xinda, Warrior Princess?
It was one of my favourite shows.
Author's Response: Actually, it was a Dickensian-style tag name. Meant to imply that she was the embodiment of peaceful tolerance.

See someone muse is working. Wonder what will happen next?
Author's Response: Next, I'll take a breather for about a day or two. Like I said; I've been trying to stay three chapters ahead of myself, as it is!

Let me guess:
Etag Thron = North Gate
Ledo Srmm = Modelmrs
Working these out makes the story even more fun
Author's Response: Guilty as charged. Insert embarrassment icon, here.

Wonder what they will find in Australia?
Author's Response: More than they bargain for? ;-D

It actually doesn't get very cold here now, even in the middle of winter. Global warming has hit us Aussies harder than most other countries.
It's nice to have our capital city in the story though.
Author's Response: Well, at the risk of spoiling the surprise, I won't exactly be depicting a snowfall! ;-)

In the words of Dlanod Kcud, Oh uh.

Fronkensteen? What ever happened to his servant Egor? Cary Comic spelled backwards. Reminds me of a story I'm thinking about where the herioin is Lily Swan, her initials bacwards are SL, for Suzan Lake, her AKA. WHich gets her in a heap o trouble.
Good story so far.

Sounds like the Doc decided to treact somebody to lunch.

Good start. You have a great imagination. I liked the use of the name Stanley.
Author's Response: I can't take all the credit. In Mr_G's canonical stories, the owner of the restaurant chain is called "Stanley Charm." But, I forgot that salient point, and unintentionally changed the surname to "Wishbone!" Although, in hindsight, I might have been subconsciously thinking of your pen-name, as well.

Well this loyal reader says thanks.
Best chapter yet, I think.
Author's Response: You're most welcome. Btw: I'm brushing up on my Australian geography, so I can be as accurate as possible for the Canberra scenes. But, if I still get some details unintenially wrong? I will shamelessly resort to that old cop-out:
"Hey! What do you expect? This is an _alternate_ universe." ;-D

Thank you for reviewing my latest story. I found this one of yours on the most recent lists and enjoyed all 18 chapters. It seems modelled after Sliders too.
I'll watch for future chapters keenly.
Author's Response: Thank you, very much! :-)

Good lord, GTS crossover/fan fiction! As ever, Cary, you come up with wild and crazy ideas. You're like the mad scientist of our community. :)
Was the "Ceir-Nathan" land in Chapter 3 an homage to me?
Author's Response: Partly, yes. Just as the "wandering minstrel extraordinaire" was in homage to Thorns. :-)

I think J-Rog is going to have an intresting few days.

Yes, but what happened to the giantess of the sea?
The topless one. What happened to her?
Tell us the naked truth.
Author's Response: Hmmmm! Methinks thou art trying to overthrow DX as King of Punsters. ;-D
