You've actually made me like Thomas!
I never would have thought he was the type to legit fall in love at all, let alone in a reality TV environment. But seeing him having to be restrained to keep from going after an almost 30-foot Kim was really touching. He really loves Monica, and the only time he's not acting like a selfish prick is when he's worried about her. Very admirable, something I didn't think I'd ever say about him.
And Monica realizing that she really did love him when they were reunited, despite her confusion between her feelings for him and her love and fear of Kim, was such a sweet moment. Monica fighting between her fear of being forced to fuck Kim, her lust at liking bring forced into it, and her loyalty to Thomas really makes me feel for her. She's the most sympathetic figure in the story, I'd say, so seeing her go through the anguish of her own body betraying her and clouding her emotions is exceptionally gripping.
Darren immediately going "Fuck yeah!" and grabbing a knife when Sam suggested killing Kim had me fucking rolling! Darren isn't the smartest dude in the world, to say the least. I was surprised that Thomas was cautious enough to realize that immediately going with the plan when a stranger suggested it wasn't the best idea. This is another reason he's grown on me.
Oddly enough, it makes sense that some of the crew have started to worship Kim. The bigger she gets, the less like them she acts, and the confidence she displays is going to affect hiw others see her, especially those that aren't the focus of her games or anger. So some members of the med team, who have to measure her science-defying body on a daily basis and only see how she treats others, starting to deify her seems almost natural to expect over time.
Again, Thomas was so clever to use his own fear of Kim to infiltrate the villa. He knew she wanted to dominate rather than actually kiss any of them, so resisting her was such a smart idea. Of course, once Kim pinned him down, that was clearly instinct rather than acting afraid on his part, but his plan still worked nonetheless.
Kim making the lovely couple do everything but actually fuck may well be one of the hottest scenes I've read of yours. From start to finish, I couldn't stop reading. It was fucking incredible. Kim was so dominant that she didn't even need to touch them most of the time
But when she did, oh shit! Just so well done! I can't even pull out a favorite part of the scene because I loved the whole thing so much! What a fun, sexy, and dangerous concept!
And, of course, Kim makes them milk her at the end. I'm not normally into that sort of thing (I've got nothing against it, either; it’s just not my thing), but the way Kim forces them to do it, implying the order rather than outright saying it, was sexy as hell!
Of course, I can't get through a review without pitching about Charlie. Him "making" Kim redo her entrance into the courtyard while holding that guy even more recklessly than before once again shows how fake reality TV really is. Oh, and it was terrible for the guy, too. Yeah, that's just as important.
The dynamic between Charlie and Kim us an interesting one. Kim likes Charlue featuring her in the show, so she allows him to pretend like he's running things. I can't tell if that smile she shot him when he ordered that second take was sincere because she liked his suggestion or manipulative.
And between his obsession to call the shots and his fear/fanatical devotion to Kim, he really thinks he does but treats his "star" like the goddess she's becoming. I'm glad to see this is at least wearing the bastard down, though. I really hope a reckoning is coming for this man soon.
I'm intrigued to see how the assassination attempt goes. Kim's reaction should be ... interesting.
Date: November 01 2024 9:05 AM Title: Chapter 11: Kim's Lagoon
Seeing Kim slowly descend deeper and deeper into madness has been a gut-wrenching treat so far, but this chapter saw her take her biggest step in that direction yet (which I guess makes sense, since she's, you know, bigger now).
I love the way Kim keeps justifying how horribly she's treating everyone. I really feel like she's trying to convince herself that all of them deserve everything she's doing to them. It's not that she's feeling guilty but rather the opposite, I think. It feels natural for her to be this way, but she doesn't want to be the bad guy.
So Aaron "deserves" to be sent out to live in the jungle because he had the audacity to not accept that he's not man enough or her anymore; that's way easier to accept than admitting that she was too rough with him and didn't consider his feelings at all. All of the others who went along with his plan were trying to ruin her quest for love, not try to escape the living nightmare that the show was becoming for them. Candace fucked her relationship with Thomas back at the start of the story, so Kim is totally justified to do whatever she wants with her for however long she wants to hold the grudge; tormenting her both physically and emotionally is nothing compared to the pain Kim felt when she stole away that guy that she had only known for what, a day or two, right? Of course!
So Kim isn't just someone getting off on the power she has over others. She's the hero of her own story and the villain of everybody else's (yes, even Charlie and Val). She started off as a sweet, innocent girl looking for love and wanting to not be the one getting pushed around in the relationship for once, and that girl has evolved into the biggest bully on the block, who feels no shame or remorse for finally standing up and taking control. I got the vibe that she's felt like the victim in some of her past relationships, so I feel like those feelings are helping her justify being the aggressor and taking everything she wants from others for once.
Breaking the cast and crew up into three groups was a pretty savage decision by her, too, especially that group that has to live in the jungle now. Damn, that's heartless of her! But again, she feels like they deserve it because they were trying to ruin this for her, mainly because Aaron can't accept not having her, at least in Kim's mind that's the reason he did what he did. But exiling those poor people, not even permitting the other two groups to talk to them, is just so fucked up. And her calling them nasty little people when she's the one wronging them shows just how deliciously delusional she really is.
Then there's making a group sleep outside the villa because she didn't choose them to pleasure her. That's what life is going to revolve around for both the villa group and the unchosen as they mix populations at Kim's whims. I hated Thomas at the start of the story, but even I felt sorry for him here. He actually tried to step up and protect Monica, only to be cast aside, unable to do anything as the girl I'm starting to think he actually loves was taken from him without effort on Kim's part.
And for the villa group, the price for proper housing is to become Kim's sex slaves. Kim is truly gone now. There's no more excuse of not understanding the real power her size gives her or only using her size to punish those who have wronged her. Now she's using her size to get what she wants from whoever she wants, using Val and Jacob to train the rest to pleasure her properly. This is insane in the best way possible (for the reader, not the people in the story, obviously).
I feel so bad for Val. She was my favorite character early on, so to see her like we do at the start of the chapter, broken but desperate to keep Kim happy, is so incredibly heartbreaking. Her loyalty has been rewarded with Kim stopping her breathing for fun and seemingly finding Val's declarations of love for her adorable (Kim's response to Val didn't sound sincere to me at all!). Val's downfall so far (which I have no doubt is only going to continue, based on how things have gone so far) was probably the least deserved one of the whole story, and she's the only one that doesn't hate or fear Kim at all! That makes it so much worse!
Poor Monica. She's in such a difficult position. She finally found piece with not indulging that darker side after Kim didn't initially pick her, finding comfort in Thomas, only to have Kim come back and take her at that moment. She really wanted to stay loyal to Thomas; I truly feel like that was her motivation for fighting Kim as long as she did at least as much as her fear was. And I love that Monica resisted so long; she actually hung on longer than Aaron or Darren did when they tried to resist Kim, and Monica is into the size difference! That's really impressive, and I was so bummed when Monica finally broke (although Kim did a masterful job pushing the right buttons to do so).
Of course, I stopped being bummed real quick after seeing how Kim decided to play with Monica. Fucking the little woman with her nipple like that was so fucking sexy. Not to mention that Kim knowing what Monica's into allowed her to get away with some size-related dialogue that would normally feel out of place but was perfect for the scene here. I also liked the symbolism of Kim letting Monica slide down with the rest of the sex slaves after getting special treatment for a minute. It was like the novelty of a new toy had worn off, and now she's discarded back into the toybox with the rest of them. She'll be expected to do all the same things the other slaves have to, I think.
It was a small thing, but I like how you mentioned Brian a couple times here. He seemed so into Kim in that first chapter (he really sold how beautiful she was), and hearing that Kim had a crush on him too makes me think that everything could have been different if Brian could have somehow made his feelings known to her (I know there was no way a host could do that with a contestant, but still, it's interesting to think about).
As things continue to pick up, I'm really liking where you're going with the story. How far will come go and how fast will she continue to grow (five feet in eight hours is insane compared to what she started out at, by the way; I'm loving that pace!) in the chapters ahead? I'm really eager to see what you have in store for us!
Date: October 25 2024 9:52 AM Title: Chapter 10: Doomed
Damn! Real Kim is finally starting to turn into Charlie-hallucination Kim.
I have to say that the way you portrayed the horror of Kim's actions in this chapter, primarily with the two security guards, was fucking stellar! I could feel the same chill going through my body as Candace did as Kim laughed while dragging that security guard back into her room. The way you described that whole scene, from how Kim handled the security guards to her carefree, playful attitude was not only sexy as hell, but terrifying as well! That's a hell of a combination to pull off, but the scene flowed so effortlessly anyway. I know I've said this more than once before, but I once again find myself impressed with your ability to concisely convey a scene that is so easy to visualize and never seems to lack in emotion. Fucking brilliant!
That part where she chased guard down the hall on all fours, cheerfully calling out, "Don't let me get you!" is maybe the best example of the blend of cuteness and horror that Kim has become. I really just wanted to highlight that part, as it quickly became one of my favorites in the whole story up to this point.
The scariest part about Kim is that I really don't know which is worse, the fact that Kim really didn't seem to notice how frightening her actions were here or the fact that after Charlie put them in perspective, her first thought was to just straight-up take over everything! And you know Kim didn't fully comprehend how her actions were being seen by everyone else by the way that she stopped to taunt Candace. I came away from that scene thinking that Kim really didn't think what she was doing was that big a deal and that it was just her being a little playful with some jerks who tried to tase her. Honestly, it seemed like she took more joy in informing Candace about stealing Jacob than she did playing with the security guards. That line about Kim's sloppy seconds being Candace's favorite after "giving' Candace that guy was fucking brutal! If Candace was scared for her life, that shit might have destroyed her.
While we're on Kim, I loved the little "competition" Thomas and Monica tried to have with Kim, Jacob, and Val. I still don't care for Thomas, but I have to admit that I'm softening on him a bit. I love Monica, and seeing them together is kind of helping me view him in a slightly more positive light. Of course Monica would be turned on by Kim's sex noises! I thought it was awesome that, instead of getting pissed or scared, she used it as motivation to get fucked and even managed to get Thomas into it. I ended up being really glad that they got the fuck out of there before shit got too crazy, and I have to thank Thomas for saving sweet, sweet Monica.
Kim's foot coming through the wall they were fucking on was crazy, though! When it became clear that something was coming through the wall, I thought her whole body was going to come through and that someone was going to get seriously hurt. That Kim is both long and strong enough to accidentally put her foot through a fucking wall is incredibly hot!
But the meat of the chapter, plotwise at least, was the first segment. I've already made my feelings on Charlie known, but I think the fact that his Pete hallucination represents the "angel" to his Kim's "devil" speaks volumes about his moral compass. It was interesting to see those two imaginary beings pulling Charlie in two different directions, though. Pete is trying to keep Charlie on the straight and narrow strictly for common sense and legal reasons, which fits his personality and views on morality, while his version of Kim just pushes him to do crazier and crazier things (and now, again, real Kim is starting to sound a lot like imaginary Kim).
Aaron going off on Charlie and beating the shit out of him like that was so satisfying to read, even if I knew there was no way that it could end well for Aaron. Charlie has had this coming for some time, and I have to admit that I didn't expect him to actually receive any form of punishment, let alone the product of Aaron's long-term anguish, fear, and frustrations. I found Kim's reaction to finding out that Aaron did this to Charlie to be quite interesting. Despite at least pretending to still care about Charlie, did beating the producer-turned-showrunner to a bloody pulp make Kim want Aaron again? Or is she just in awe that she inspired enough terror in him to make him do something so raw and desperate? I'm really curious how she reacts to Aaron in the next chapter now.
It sucks that crazy Charlie destroyed the com system to "protect" Kim. For a while now, Charlie's infatuation with Kim has morphed from seeing her as his ticket up the showbiz ladder to damn-near deifying her. Pete's words at the very end of the chapter seem to imply that he's at least a little upset at Kim taking over the show, but I feel like Charlie is going to bury that shit deep and give himself to Kim even more now that she's moving past horny playfulness to something darker.
Speaking of which, I feel like this was shown when Kim went from thinking that the guards weren't as hurt as they were to demanding that at least most of the medical team stop working on them to measure her was a nice subtle indication at the shift in her attitude after reflecting on how she could have killed those two guards, something she didn't seem to consider until Charlie brought it up. The power she really has over everyone, the authority she commands, is finally starting to really sink in, and the last vestiges of the Kim we saw back at the start of the story are being shed as her orders become less about immediate needs like food and more about what's going to happen next on the show. That big meeting with everyone, even those who haven't been on the show yet (and presumably Lauren, which could be interesting), has me intrigued as to how Kim sees things going from here on out.
This chapter was filled with action, some of it being hot as fuck! This story has only gotten more interesting as the chapters continue to come in, and with the way things are right now, I only see that continuing to be true in the chapters ahead!
Date: October 18 2024 9:21 AM Title: Chapter 9: Loyalty
Damn! Kim is just ruining relationships left and right in this chapter. Her size has given her some ridiculous pull with people!
Her picking Jacob was a bit of a shocker, even with the hint last chapter with Jacob getting hard at her touch. It was a logical choice when you think about it, though. She knew Darren was basically done and that she could keep Valerie regardless of what she does, so why not destroy Candace and see if that reaction from Jacob might lead to something more. It's so manipulative and so far removed from what Kim initially came to the island to do, which is find love. That need to not be the doormat in the relationship has caused her to do a 180, and now she's the one walking all over people to the point that it almost seems like it doesn't matter who it is.
I felt so bad for both Jacob and Candace here. Candace was so emotional and felt so betrayed, even before Jacob actually did anything wrong. Kim thinks this is karma, and she's not exactly wrong about that, but that was obviously producer-driven (at least the more dramatic conpibents of it were), and all Candace did was find a dude so she could stay on the show. So yeah, I feel bad for Candace here.
And Jacob, holy shit! He went into the date strong, and I really thought he was going to be able to resist Kim. But that may not even be possible at this point. Hearing that Candace and he were already talking about kids, something you normally don't do this early in a relationship, shows how strong their bond was before Kim shattered it. Kim let him feel like he had some degree of control with the grapes teasing, but once she decided to take him, it was all over.
But perhaps the saddest character to read was Val. She was Kim's one trye friend on the island, and now she's basically Kim's puppet. It was frightening how quickly her anger about Kim driving Darren away just vanished at Kim's touch. The same thing happened when Kim ordered Jacob to eat Val out. Val thought about how little she knew about him and how Vandace might feel about the whole thing, but Kim's touch, this time used to spread her legs, and those concerns melted away, too. Val even chastised herself for ever second-guessing Kim, which was particularly heartbreaking.
I love Desi! She's so sweet and considerate, but she's willing to stand up for the people she really cares about. I was happy to see her comforting Aaron here, especially since they still have yet to really get to know each other. She just feels a natural connection with him. She was also really brave to question Kim, even if it wasn't in an openly hostile way.
Poor Aaron. Charlie was a piece of shit for making him resort that scene and making him walk past Kim. I felt terrible for him after seeing how scared he was, and I was happy to see the cameraman agree with him about Kim. I can't wait to see what their plan is.
But yeah, Kim's starting to become more monstrous, and that innocent girl we met in the beginning barely seems to exist anymore. It's been a thrilling transformation, and I'm both excited and worried to see how it shapes as she hits more and more extreme size landmarks!
Did I mention fuck Charlie?
Date: October 11 2024 9:28 AM Title: Chapter 8: Hide and Seek
While I was critical of Charlie's choice of hide and go seek as a challenge for a couple's dating show, it was a brilliant choice for this chapter. It really let us see Kim's relationship with each of her fellow cast members. Her approach with catching each of them was different, as were their reactions to being caught.
Kim clearly loves that Monica enjoys how small and helpless Kim makes her feel. She's been playing with Monica for a while now, so her marveling at being able to pick Monica up one-handed feels like a natural progression. Kim feeling Monica up with her thumb was so fucking hot, too! And like a tease, Kim ends up cooling Monica off with that 10-foot drop into the pool.
The continuing inner conflict with Monica is so enthralling. She's terrified and wants Kim to stop, but she also loves it. Her hoping that Kim wouldn't listen to her and violate her is about the most Monica thought she's had so far.
It looks like Darren is sick of Kim being in charge of the relationship, and that played out here. Kim seemed legitimately playful and lighthearted with him at first, but Darren's annoyed attitude at being manhandled and forced into a kiss ruined her mood. Kim knows something is wrong here, which is why she asked Valerie to talk to him. I think it's interesting that Kim wants to preserve that relationship. I would think that staying on the show isn't an issue anymore with Charlie calling the shots. Maybe she's just frustrated at the prospect of being dumped again? She's trying to take control of her love life, and being rejected is the opposite of that.
Valerie and Kim are so cute together. In a different world, they'd be able to match together, as they have the most chemistry. Kim loves to play with Val, and Val is desperate to be played with. Cal not really hiding was fucking adorable! Unfortunately, the rules of the game, Kim's determination to get revenge for every wrong she thinks was done to her, and her insatiable sex drive combine to keep Kim from focusing on Val too much.
Jacob and Candace coming up with a plan together was awesome! It was never said that they couldn't work as a couple to get that date. But Candace being too scared of Kim to follow through fits her relationship with Kim so well, as did Kim pretending to be friendly but letting Candace know she hates her. Very well done here! And Kim dismissing Jacob's concern in the tree is pretty common for her at this point. I think Jacob just put himself on Kim's radar with that hard on, plus the sarilltisfaction that Kim would feel from stealing Candace's man like she did hers.
I came away from the Thomas segment thinking that Thomas has faded a bit on Kim's shit list quite a bit. He seems more like an annoying afterthought at this point. She liked chasing him and enjoyed dunking him, but she didn't seem particularly vindictive like she was when she made them compare heights every day. Thomas has benefitted a little from Candace being a man stealer and Aaron standing up for himself, it seems.
Poor Aaron. Kim is still hurting from being rejected by him. I know she got more physical with him because Charlie told her to, but her making him massage her feet made me believe her both when she said she missed him and that she could trust him enough to take him back. I think she really thinks he'd go back to her if he could. That ominous "I don't think I want you around anymore" was scary as shit.
It was sad to see Aaron so terrified. It was smart to hide by the out of bounds boundary. Kim really wanted to get him, though, which, again, shows how in her head he is. Reading him just saying and doing whatever it takes to survive made me feel so bad for him. I highly doubt it, but I really hope he finds salvation with that blinking red light.
But Kim was fucking fantastic throughout the chapter. I loved the way she took apart the railing to get Darren and was taking coconuts to the face from Jacob. Her playful approach throughout the chapter was so fun yet a little frightening, and I love that vibe! It's so unique!
Awesome job with this one! I'm on the edge of my fucking seat to see what Kim does next.
Date: October 04 2024 8:23 AM Title: Chapter 7: A New Direction
I can't say enough about ho bw m ov pbb o bpi 0gzuch I love Charlie's fear of failing taking the form of Pete's ghost! Even in death, that guy is making sure Charlie's knows how worthless he is. It really shows how much Charlie feared and hated Pete. ead Pete ripping on him is pretty funny, too!
And Charlie has reason to doubt himself. Hide and go seek? Really? His big idea is to have them play a kids game that has nothing to do with couples. That's terrible! Granted, Kim being 15 feet tall adds an element of interest to the game, but you could say that about almost anything. Taking the couples element out of a couples competition? Charlie isn't too bright.
Speaking of that, the irony of that exchange between Kim and Charlie, the one where Kim butters him up, isn't lost on me. He thinks he has her under control, but she's working hom emotionally and he can't even see it. Dead Pete even tried to warn him. Hell, Kim "convinced" Charlie to kill Pete without even realizing it! Charlie is losing his mind, and his lust for power keeps him under Kim's thumb. That and his crippling fear of her.
Kim keeps talking about how she was too much woman for Aaron, and I find myself wondering how much of this is her just trying to get at him and how much of it reflects what she really thinks is the reason for the breakup. Maybe the best part of Kim's descent into madness is how she still feels like the one being wronged in all this. So of course she doesn't care that most of cast and crew doesn't want to be around her. Whatever happens to them, they've got it coming, right?
I felt so bad for Aaron at the ceremony! He thought he was finally free, and Kim, Charlie, and company orchestrated the most dramatic way to implement the rule change as possible. She was all but out the door when they pulled her back in. Even knowing it was coming, that twist was entertaining to read. And given how this chapter ended, it looks like rough times ahead for the poor guy (yet another reason Pete was right about Charlie's shortening abilities).
Finally, I greatly enjoyed the little shots you took at how reality TV operates! Noting all the fake reactions of the cast to shocking news, Charlie threatening their star-status to shut them up, and "sending them off" for hide and go seek, only to call them back for testimonials instead; you hit the choreographed tone of reality shows perfectly! I'm loving all of it!
I'm eager to see Kim actually get her huge hands on the other houseguest next chapter, even if I'll be ready about poor Aaron's experience through my fingers!
Date: September 27 2024 8:16 AM Title: Chapter 6: Mutiny
The opening couple of sentences from Pete's perspective to start the chapter do a great job of showing just how much being around Kim now can change people. Pete may have been a piece of shit (God rest his fictional soul), but he wasn't wrong about Kim (more or less literally) squeezing the confidence out of him. I just liked that we got a closer look from a different perspective of how Kim's growth has altered someone so close to her orbit.
And holy shit does Pete come off as even more disgusting than usual in that segment. He admits (to the reader, anyway) that he let Kim "become the villain" on purpose and only think she's gone too far because he doesn't like the direction the show is going. He doesn't give a shit about Aaron or his safety, lying about staff getting involved to help the cast with Kim, he doe the same about the purpose of the show in general (saying the point is to break hearts for ratings, basically), and even though I hate Charlie, the way Pete thinks of him almost makes me sympathize with Kim's production assistant (and that takes a lot to get me to do that, so you know Pete has to suck).
But it's also kind of sad, because both Aaron and Charlie are indirectly warning Pete about Kim, and his sexism just won't let him see it. And that cost him his life. Kim beat him in the battle for Charlie's soul, and that was the end for poor pathetic Pete. I do like the symbolism behind his death, though, falling from his perch above everyone else on the island, going from above it all to a victim of his own ignorance. Underestimating Charlie was a huge mistake.
Speaking of Charlie, his segment was masterfully written. I love how he's losing his mind and what it leads him to do. Not only that, but it flows nicely into the theme of the first segment with Aaron: the effect Kim's growth and newly developing attitude is having on those around her. Charlie is so scared of Kim and so desperate for some semblance of power that both the evil and sweet versions of Kim in his hallucination lead him to killing Pete. He sees the monster she could become, the monster he helped create, as well as the sweet person she used to be. Of course, because Charlie is scum, what he feels, aside from intense fear is a sense of opportunity instead of the guilt he should be feeling.
And just like that, Kim inadvertently caused Pete's death without even realizing it. Fucking brilliant! Now, I wonder how she would/will react if/when she finds out what Charlie did and why he did it.
Also, holy shit was that Kim growth sequence hot as fuck! It makes me that much more excited for what might happen if/when Kim actually reaches some of those heights (didn't Pete say something about her being twelve-hundred feet tall? I'd be good with that!).
But back to the hazards of being in Kim's orbit, we see Darren already looking worse for wear the first time we see him on this chapter. He's got that huge hickey and already looks like Kim has sucked out his soul with her dominance. That checks out, too, as we saw her ordering him around last chapter, too. Between that and her intense sexual needs, I think he probably doesn't think less of Aaron anymore like he did back when Aaron told Darren he could take Kim off his hands.I loved how Aaron stood up for Desy when no one else would. I think it was particularly brave of him, since he has had to deal with Kim the longest. But then again, maybe that's why he did it. He couldn't stand to see her pick on somebody else like that, and that's why he demanded that Kim stop without worrying about what she could do to him. I don't think it was the desperation that Kim thought it was, although it fits her perception of the breakup to think so, I think.
And I immediately liked Aaron and Desy as a couple. You wrote their wordless chemistry quite well and maximized the limited dialogue between them as well. Not to mention that Aaron is one if the more likable characters in the story, in my opinion, so I'm always pulling for him!
Brian's paranoia of the cast's reaction to Pete's death show that he's a veteran reality show host. Or maybe it's just this cast he doesn't trust. But I, too, wonder if Kim's tears were real. If so, I go back to that question of how will she react if/when she finds out what Charlie did.
But Aaron's reaction, that ... that was real. And sad, too. His one chance at salvaging this thing, of feeling safe, fell 80 feet down a cliff. And even if he could have still gotten off the show, that instant connection with Desy surely would have kept him there. He'd have worried about her if wasn't there, too.
I should have known Charlie was playing by Highlander rules. He killed Pete and then immediately swooped in for his power. The production discussion and vote were fun. I love how the med team was like "Nope" about Charlie's Kim pitch!
Of course Brian cast the deciding vote for team Kim (what Charlie represents). I get his rationale, trying to be relevant again, but he clearly saw that there was something wrong with Charlie. I think his attraction to Kim back in the first segment in the story back in chapter one played a factor as well, even if he didn't say it outright.
Lastly, I'm loving Kim as an emerging villain! Her turn from sweet and lovable to dominant and uncaring has been paced so well, and I feel like Pete dying is going to lead to a critical moment that will probably accelerate her descent into darkness. The way she just picked Desy up, ignored her begging to be put down, and taunted everyone was haunting. There's just something about the way she goes about everything that has a cloud of darkness hanging over it.
Another great chapter! I'm really interested what a Charlie-run show looks like next chapter.
Date: September 20 2024 8:45 AM Title: Chapter 5: More, more, more!
Kim's perspective on what happened with Aaron was downright intriguing. She seems to have not even noticed the position she was putting him in. To be fair to her, she was aggressive with him back in chapter one to great effect, so I could see her ignoring Aaron's legitimate complaints and assuming a little "enticement" would be enough to get him going again. However, she doesn't seem to understand that she flat out ignored him clearly not wanting to be part of her games or go another round with her last chapter. She seems to just think that Aaron's problem was just that she was too big for him (again, to be fair, Aaron did say that specifically, but clearly there was more to it than that).
I would have considered the possibility that she was manipulating Valerie here, but between her initial sad reaction when Valerie went to comfort her and that thousand-yard stare, I believe her. This sets up the way she treats Aaron a little later in the chapter pretty well. She feels wronged by him, and to her, sitting on him and physically intimidating him is justified, even though, in reality, it's abusive and wrong. So while Aaron doesn't come close to deserving her ire, I can understand why she would do that to him.
Another interesting part of that first segment was, again, how devastated Kim seemed by Aaron's rejection of her. It really bothered her, and this seemed to me as though it was another one of those chances for Kim to set herself straight. She just needed a little help, a little guidance. Unfortunately, she didn't get that from Valerie. Instead, Valerie didn't hesitate to meet Kim's urges, which put any self-reflection out of Kim's mind and ensured her that Aaron was the problem in that breakup. Bringing Darren into the fold was easy enough, and he went from wanting to stay out of Kim's business to being in the middle of it without a fight. All it took was Valerie and her to tag team him and make him cum in less than three seconds, and he went from macho "I said now, woman" to the guy that cooks Kim's meals on command.
While I'm sad that Kim is losing herself to her power and no one seems willing or understanding enough to help her, I love what she did to Charlie here. He set her on the course for his own selfish reasons, and now it's blowing up in his face in the most spectacular fashion. I enjoyed her telling him to "do his job," just like Pete does. Charlie thought he was going to get out from under Pete and run things, now he's got a much more dangerous master controlling him instead.
And the way she threatened Charlie at the end, while it's by far the most aggressive thing she's done so far, I can't bring myself to feel bad for him. Like Kim said, she's no longer his plaything; now he's her plaything! All that mental manipulation has earned him as a truly remorseless Kim who sees him as a tool and has no reservations about doing something terrible to him if he doesn't prove useful to her. As scary as that is and as sure as I am that this mentality is going to come to apply to other less deserving of Kim's wrath, I'm glad Charlie was the first to experience it at this level.
I'm really curious to see what Pete has to say next chapter. Aaron is going to come to Pete saying that Kim is a threat to him, and Charlie is going to desperately try to convince him that not only should Kim be booted from the show, but they should change the rules so that she can take two lovers, one of which is the same gender. I'm very interested to see how that weasel handles the situation.
Not only that, but I have a feeling Kim is going to cause some problems for the new girl. She knows Aaron is going to try to get with her, and based on how Kim's last interaction with Aaron went, I'm confident that she's not going to let him get what he wants on the island.
Oh, and aside from all this plot and psychological stuff, the smut in that first segment was fantastic! I loved that three-way action between Valerie, Kim, and Darren. Kim realizing she needs more than one lover is most likely going to lead to hotter and hotter scenes as the story presses on.
Lastly, Kim's personality during this both physical and mental evolution of hers is being paced perfectly. I liked how much more dominant she's becoming, now walking through crowds to make them scurry out of her way, sitting on ex-boyfriends, and casually expecting everyone around her to do exactly what she says. That bit where she pretended like Aaron was trying to get back with her was the hottest form of conceited. I'm eager to see this continue to develop in the chapters ahead!

Oh Aaron, those words are going to haunt you, especially with the way Kim has been acting recently.
You know, despite him not being mentioned once in this chapter, I thought about Charlie a lot as I was reading it. Seeing Kim fully embrace her dominance streak had me thinking about what might have been had the production assistant not encouraged her to give into those urges she's having. What if she had come back to the room, to Aaron, at the start of the chapter as vulnerable as she had been on the beach with Charlie, just like Aaron expected?
Maybe Kim would have still gone full domme and kept treating Aaron more like a thing than a boyfriend. But perhaps they would have had a talk about the struggles they're having with her size and how unsafe everyone feels around her. Maybe she would have decided that she didn't want to be viewed as a monster and would focus on trying to be safer and not taunting her housemates. Maybe, just maybe, Aaron would have helped her find a way to satisfy her urges without making him fear for his life.
So thank you, Charlie (is it possible to be both sarcastic and sincere at the same time, because I think I just did it).
Kim was ridiculously hit throughout this chapter. From slamming Aaron against the wall and shoving her tongue in his mouth to pretend sleeping as she rolled on top of of him, she was dominant in a way that was as playful as it was ominous, which is a really hard vibe to pull off.
And the she made him into her own living sex toy, even at less than twice his size, was incredible! She treated him more like a thing for her to use than a person, and his feeling that complying is just easier kept things consensual yet hopeless. The fact that she thinks she can manipulate him sexually also shows that she hasn't crossed that line yet.
But that ending for the chapter, when Kim went from being in total control to Aaron snatching it away (in an emotional sense) by saying the words that would end it, holy shit! She obviously didn't take well to that, as she wanted to be in a relationship where she called all the shots, and I wonder how close she came to seriously hurting him out of anger. We already saw how hard she went just when she was getting him off; I can't imagine how far she'd take it actually trying to di some damage.
You described the size difference between them so well and quite vividly at that. I could really visualize how much bigger than him she is!
It has been quite fun (and kind of tragic) seeing Kim go down this dark road so far, especially with all the off-ramps she's missing along the way. I'm excited to see where things go from here!

Amazing rewrite!

In your response to my last review, you wondered if my dislike of certain characters was making the story less enjoyable. It's actually the opposite! To me, any character that can make me feel something, good or bad, is interesting, and it shows that I'm invested in them o e way or another.
I just wanted to clear that up.
As for this chapter, my first thought is that Charlie is really going to regret his actions later on. He's in a unique position from which he can see how Kim's personality is evolving (and in some ways, he has even helped shape it), and yet he keeps pushing her to be more extreme rather than trying to dial her back (even when Pete tells him to). He knows her so well, but he won't do a damn thing to stop what's coming, so convinced that he can handle her. His selfishness makes him a good ignorant villain, but the way he tries to convince himself that all of this is for Kim's benefit makes him that much more hateable.
Kim was starting to have doubts, and he had a real chance to get her to be a little more considerate of her castmates and fight that need to dominate them. Instead, Charlie pushed her to lean into those feelings so that he could cling to her fir power. Deep down, he knows he can't control her anymore, but he refuses to accept it. All he really did was affirm Kim on this darker path she's going down.
But that part at the end of the scene when Kim puts him in his place was fantastic! I love how she transitioned from thanking him for "helping" her to letting him know that she isn’t going to be his puppet anymore. And the danger he felt from such a subtle gesture as she was explaining this to him was so well portrayed here.
Kim is also expanding who she uses her power to humiliate. Up until this chapter, it was mostly Thomas that she set out to embarrass, at least on purpose. Using her legs to trap Monica, though, was not only the hottest part of the chapter, but it marks the first time a sober Kim negatively went after a cast member other than Thomas so directly. I wonder if part of her reason for doing this to Monica is the shorter girl's attraction to feeling small, which Kim would have known about from last chapter. That makes this not entirely a dick move on Kim's part as Monica was right when she said, "It's complicated."
This makes me wonder if she's limiting her antics to people who she feels deserve it and people who she thinks are into it (although it sounds like Aaron is about to drop out of the latter category soon, if he hasn't already).
Pete continues to be terrible. Always passing the buck and expecting his production staff to clean things up. Also, I think his line, "Who approved that" for Kim's "new character" sums up reality TV better than anything else could.
Also, I love how Candace assumed Kim broke Cedric's leg just to get back at her. The paranoia has already begun! Even though it's so different from Growing Closer, I'm liking the darker vibe this story is starting to take.
The way Kim put Candace in her place just by standing up and teasing her a little was a fun scene, too.
I really, really like Valerie as a character. She's fun-loving and legitimately wants to help everyone. The way she tried to play peacemaker between Candace and Kim was so sweet, and her frustration at Kim was reserved enough to have her feel like Kim's closest friend without being a blind yes person.
But Kim's allure is too strong for Valerie. That little moment they shared at the end buokt some anticipation for me. We have to see Kim ravage her at some point! The way Valerie tried to pull away and Kim wouldn't let her, but Valerie didn't t really want to pull away anyway really drew me into the scene.
I'm loving the direction this is going, and I'm looking forward to what Kim gets up to next!

I hope you don't mind, but I ended up reading the completed story over at the 'City. I figured I give you a comment here instead of necroposting over there. Anyway, I loved it. Almost had a horror quality to it like Lost or Jurassic Park. I loved seeing Kim's transformation and her slowly becoming erratic overtime. It was also exhilarating to see everyone lose their mind around Kim the bigger she got. Oh, and lactation! Hell yeah! That was a treat to read, and I loved how you weaved it in at the end.
Now that I've read your story, your comments/questions over at the GW discord make more sense to me. I'm really curious about how this vision is going to differ from the original. Anyway, great job and lovely story!
Author's Response:
I'm actually glad you did (though I am embarrassed by the frequent typos and a whole missing chapter)! I would be curious what you think of the new ending if you choose to keep reading it. I think the new ending will be better!

I just finished reading chapter 2 and 3. Now that I know this story is told from multiple POVs, and I'm familiar with the cast, this story has been immensely fun. I love the somewhat slow growth process, and Kim's mind wrestling with her transformation. Monica enjoying, not only the size, but Kim's show of force was great. I love the little personalities from everyone, and how they react differently to Kim's growth.
I'm really excited to see where this goes next!

lol. I'll have to admit that the subtitles with the characters name completely went over my head. I didn't realize it was the story from their POV. Maybe as a teeny-tiny request, could you give each character a title? Like, Brian - Production Assistant? Because I thought it was the same person telling the story for the first half of the chapter, lol. But feel free to ignore me and my scatter brains.
Anyway, the story looks promising. I've only read the first chapter so far. I picked up on Kim's foreshadowing, so I'm intrigued to see where this goes. Really nice scene at the end there.
Author's Response:
Thanks for reading!
In the original it was a little more obvious because each part was from the perspective of a single person. As I rewrite things I'm putting together parts into chapters that are roughly 5000 words.
Everyone introduces themselves when there is a new character, but besides Brian, the host of the show, Pete, the show runner, and Charlie, Kim's production assistant everyone else who shared their perspective is a contestant.

It's incredible just how negative an environment a reality show can be for a growing giantess!
I don't mean that in the sense that Kim is being judged for her growth or that it's making things difficult for her on the show, but the people influencing her are leading her down a far darker path than any of them realize, I think. Charlie is the worst offender here by far, but Valerie and even Thomas enabled some pretty shitty behavior on Kim's part as well.
When I started reading Charlie's perspective in chapter one, I was kind of thinking I was going to like him. I've been feeling that way less and less with pretty much every line from his point of view ever since. In this chapter, he was pretty disgusting, at least to me. Kim was actually starting to come to terms with some of the real consequences her growth could have on her if it continued, and he "helped" her through it. Aside from the fact that his empowerment lie was just a way to brush aside the reality of her situation, he wasn't even really doing it for her sake. He just needs her to stay confident so he can continue to be a critical player behind the scenes of the show.
Unfortunately, steering Kim deeper into her love of the power she has over the smaller island residents is most assuredly going to come back and bite, if not him, somebody (or many somebodies) in the butt well before the end of the story. Embracing that feeling of using her size to get what she wants out of people, without really caring what they think, is almost guaranteed to lead to bad things for everyone but Kim in the chapters ahead.
And before I move on to Valerie and Thomas, I wanted to note that I thought it was a very bad sign for Kim and Aaron's relationship that the line that got her to really go for Charlie's argument was about Thomas's reaction to her continued growth down the road. Him saying that fired her up, but she didn't even think about Aaron's potential reaction at all. Not only is she partnered with Aaron, but he's also into this, so if she really cared about him, you'd think she would have thought about that instead of getting excited over rubbing her size in Thomas's face over and over again.
What Kim did to Thomas in Thomas's segment also made me feel this way. Kim is still too focused on fucking with Thomas to make me think she's the least bit serious about Aaron. She's just keeping him around because she wants to stay on the show and she needs someone to let loose all that horny energy on. I mean, she probably likes him at least a little bit, but not nearly as much as fans of the show would likely believe as they were watching this portion of it.
Now, Valerie and Thomas both enabled Kim in her bullying of Aaron. She was embracing that power that Charlie told her to when she tried to make Aaron drink, despite him rightly refusing to do so (trying to keep up with Kim could have led to some serious consequences for her, given her size). In fact, no one took Aaron's side when he spat the alcohol out and left. Valerie was just trying to take her friend's side when she used the excuse that "he said dare." And Thomas's ego jumped on the opportunity to put Aaron down and pretend like he would have faired better by taking that swig of whiskey after the fact.
These reactions were bad because Kim briefly considered that maybe she had crossed a line. If someone would have been honest with her, she might have realized that she had and maybe went to apologize rather than get more wasted and make Aaron eat her out like nothing was wrong.
And Kim's dismissive attitude toward Aaron's complaint reinforces all of the above. Aaron couldn't do anything about (like she noted Thomas couldn't about her teasing him about her growth), so she didn't worry about what he had to say, outright ignoring him at first. That also showed how little she actually cared about him as a person, as even a power-hungry person would at least care a little about what their loved ones have to say about things like that. Lastly, it displayed the consequences of that enabling at the fire. His complaint wasn't a big deal because, whether she actually remembered it of it was a subconscious thing, everyone else assured her that she was in the right and that Aaron was being a baby.
All of this is going to lead to an uncaring, dominant giant Kim who will likely feel no sense of responsibility for her actions in the long run. Or at least that's what I'm predicting.
And let me just say that, much like I noted several times in Growing Closer, your descriptions of the smut in this chapter was spot on. It was so easy to picture those scenes between Kim and Aaron in the bedroom, both at night and even them both getting themselves off in front of each other in the morning. You also convey Kim's scale compared to him quite well in that last segment.
Poor Lauren. For a second, I thought Thomas really was going to go for her. I will say that Monica seems really fun, though. And the fact that she both likes to feel small and seems a little obsessed with Kim makes me think we'll see some fun between the two of them before the story is done. How fun would it be if Kim stole Thomas's boyfriend on top of all the "size hazing"?
As for Thomas himself, he's giving me some serious Jake from Growing Closer vibes. I didn't think I'd like him at first, and, unlike my initial feelings on Charlie, I was spot on with this one! Not only is his general thinking kind of gross, but the way he has jumped from girl to girl so quickly makes him really unlikable.
Him being intimidated by Candace being only slightly shorter than him in heels was kind of pathetic, but, I have to say, it was a bit hypocritical of her to push him aside so quick for it. Whether he meant it or not (and we know, based on his own words, that he didn't) Thomas had been reassuring her about her own insecurities for a whole week. So it seemed pretty shitty of her to move on to the next guy at the first sign of him being insecure about something. They're both kind of shitty people, I suppose.
I really enjoyed this chapter. We started to get to know more about the larger cast, there was some good smut at the end, the reality show portions were fun to read, and, most importantly, we got a lot of insight into how Kim's thinking is being influenced, which, again, I feel confident in saying is hugely foreshadowing for whatever is to come.
Keep up the good work!
Author's Response:
Thanks! I hope the unlikability of the characters doesn't stop it from being enjoyable to read, but I guess it wouldn't be a reality show without some bad eggs!
Date: August 23 2024 6:26 AM Title: Chapter 1: Paradise
I never realized how perfect setting one of these stupid reality love shows would be for a slow growth story, but you've already got me hooked on this one!
I love how villainous production comes off right away. Pete seems like exactly the kind scumbag I'd expect to run one of these shows. The way he's using his staff to manipulate the girls (and presumably the boys, based on how quickly Thomas turned on Kim) is so sleazy and disgusting.
I also really enjoyed Charlie trying and failing to wrestle his conscience here. Unlike Pete (at least as far as we can tell so far) he actually cares about Kim and feels some responsibility for her as his charge. However, he cares about his own career more, so while he feels bad about it, he doesn't hesitate when it comes time to manipulate her. And even when he's fighting for her behind the scenes, that ulterior motive is still there, too.
All of this makes Kim so easy to sympathize with. She legitimately came to the lagoon looking looking for love, and not only did production take that from her because they didn't find her interesting enough, but they destroyed her emotionally just to maximize the entertainment value. I felt so bad for her when Thomas dumped her after she declared her love for him. That was obviously shitty.
And that sympathy made Kim doing pretty much the same thing to Lauren that Candice did to her feel a lot less terrible. Maybe it's partially because we aren't as familiar with Lauren as well, but watching Kim reel Aaron in felt to me like she was taking something she deserved after what she went through. Not to mention it looks like production is pushing her to do this, between her "hearing" that Aaron likes tall girls (when only Pete and Charlie had access to her) and Charlie pressuring her by telling her she doesn't have a lot of time before someone is sent home.
And the way she seduces Aaron is perfectly portrayed. Seemingly every movement she makes is done with the purpose of driving him crazy. She's so aggressive without being direct, and it's hot as fuck! Emphasizing little things like the way her jaw moves and neck flexes are so subtle, and they contrast nicely with more direct things like her eyes lingering in him and all the flirting and foot massaging afterlurimg him to the side.
Of course, I'm not convinced that she actually feels anything for Aaron yet. She didn't really seem to get to know him at all. She spent her time with Thomas before, and then she was isolated for three days. I feel like she just took the information that production gave her and decided she was going to take him, be that assertive person she always wanted to be. Her newfound horniness certainly played a factor, too. And she wants to stay on the show, of course.
I found Brian's instant attraction to Kim intriguing as well. Out of all the super attractive girls, he was immediately enamored with her. I don't know what, if anything, will come if that, but I feel like there's a reason we spent a nice little chunk of the chapter dwelling on this.
Did Kim and Val know each other before coming to the island, or did they just become friends that fast after arriving? It seems interesting that Kim has someone she's so tight with so quickly.
And no one having a problem with keeping Kim on the island rather than worrying about the scientific anomaly happening to her is the most reality show thing I've ever seen!
I'm excited to see how this one plays out! It has a completely different flavor to it than Growing Closer and I'm interested to see where you go with it. I have a feeling that Kim won't be nearly as benevolent goddess as Trish was, even if it looks like she won't be growing as big.
Author's Response:
Thanks for the indepth review! I'm glad you're excited about this one too.
My life experience with very stressful things like Lovers Lagoon would be for the contestants is that people grow close very quickly. When you're cut off from the outside world and there are no distractions and you're very stressed you can make very strong bonds.
