Just for the record, Claire messing with familiar bonds is the reason why at times I find it hard to read injected 2 - just a difference in taste, at least now I know I'm not the only one!
Anyway another great chapter!
Cutting the restoration was imho glossed over a bit too briefly, they should have probably said something like "wow, really?", if not for any other reason at least because it can mean wasting more time with lawyers instead of doing science.
A part of me for some reason expected a mom/mom moment with Joan & Mrs Romero, ie Mrs Romero was going to explain she was just a replacement and Joan would persuade her to stay; but that's just me, Katie's quick thinking is 100% ok.
Shame on Teddy - er, Dante for not comforting Alex when she felt so bad!
More seriously, I'm still trying to guess if he's ever going to convince Mrs Romero that he's not a criminal.

Great writing but I find the protagonists, mostly, disgusting in their attitudes. Scuzzy people have never pleased me and here we are with the scuzziest of people.

Man, I'm feeling bad for Dante. The two women in his life have lied to him and everybody every step of the way, and now he's about to lose a year of his life to keep the lies going. The person he's spending the year with thinks he's some hardened criminal so he's not even going to get even the slightest bit of good treatment either.

Absolutely love how patient you are with your stories! It takes around 13 chapters for the main plot to unravel and for the main lewd part to develop. I'm sure it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I would not mind sifting through 19 chapters of world/character building if I knew that chapter 20 would reward my patience (just an example). Can't wait for it further!

I'm glad that the pacing is not too slow for you and that you appreciate the character and world building. This is definitely the closest, most intimate look we've gotten at Katie and Alex and it certainly could not be rushed!

I hope you realize that one day you'll have to explain how they know that tinies are more durable - was it a consequence of their theories or did they find out somehow?

- Suzanne trying some scientific experiments of her own
- measuring him twice instead of just repeating "5/16 of an inch"
- "Sorry", as is tradition... will be tradition... you know what I mean!!!
Really waiting for the part where they're supposed to grow him back, and to see how things go between him and Alex (and Mrs Romero of course!)
Author's Response: Since Dante is the first living target to be size-reduced, the girls are probably making an educated guess that he is more durable based on observed durability increases in non-organic objects that were reduced or maybe its in the numbers. Or maybe there was some offscreen interactions that confirmed it! Thanks as always :)

oh my goodness.
I can't remember which story of yours it was from, but I remember the scene with Sofia at R&R with her tiny and I think I begged the universe that story be told. She's mature, thicc, and in that scene, obviously sexually obsessed with her tinier-than-usual-tiny. And she doesn't care about cleanliness. This is very fucking hot to me. And I love her attitude toward Dante in this chapter. The beginnings of things. Just wow. Looking forward to reading more.

Wow... I used to think Sofia Romero was one of the investors until I reread her first appearance, and until a few minutes ago I predicted she would have to step in after they tried to grow him back...
I know you like the men in your stories to have about zero influence on anything, but it would have been hilarious if Dante had somehow said something to give Katie the idea.

Just a quick question - the Italian lady isn't Sofia Romero, right? As an Italian myself I've always assumed "Romero" to be a Spanish surname (but in Italian "Romeo" doubles as a surname, I know someone who has to explain which is the name and which is the surname).
With that out of the way... YAY! Sofia Romero is here! (and I'm waiting to see how Dante ends up the way he does - one would expect him to be more useful for his studies than as a subject)
