Thanks kindly for the thoughtful analysis. I'm glad you enjoyed the flow of the text. I read the stories aloud to hopefully catch overuse or repetition of words. I'm also fond of tossing in a fancy bit of vocab here and there, something I'll be ragging on in a tale coming out later this year. :)

Amazing. This is absolutely spectacular. The description is vivid and paints a disgustingly accurate picture.
The male protagonist who wants the destruction of the city also ends up paying heavily for his wishes. It’s a nice element that makes this story distinct and unique. The extra sense of suffering from his perspective, and how we the audience may even feel like he deserves it allows us to find this story to be sensual.
The vocabulary is extraordinary too, full of a plethora of words that avoid repetition, that would have otherwise drawn the reader out. It’s incredible.
Of course this is a one shot story, so the narrative is fairly standard, but the little elements of what’s there help it immensely stand out. It’s a great read overall, I have no complaints with this property.
