I love the original scenario, so this story was a welcome surprise!
The ending took me by surprise, I still don't know if I love it or hate it, but I DO know that I loved Ruby&Jemima's interactions.
PS
"What was she thinking? That asking one of the people who was trained to make people suffer the way her boyfriend was currently suffering would make her feet any better?"
It's such a funny typo that I almost want to see a story about it :D
Author's Response:
I'm glad to hear that, mate!
And yeah, that ending was originally the trigger point behind the whole story, so I just kinda went with it. After all, Duck didn't really explore that side of an SCO in his story, so it felt like a nice moment to give it the spotlight haha. And even if you're not sold on it, I'm glad Ruby/Jemima worked for you!
Oh shit, I didn't even catch that lol - well, appreciate the heads up there!

Man I never thought I’d see anything from this series again. That was amazing! I know you don’t plan on doing anything else with this series, but man I hope you reconsider.
Author's Response:
Honestly, Weight of the Law might be my favourite fetish story/concept anyone's written, and whilst I know Duck has taken a step back from it, I've been so tempted to try and write my own contribution to that world that it was only a matter of time once I got his blessing. After that it was just a case of working myself up to it until I felt I could publish something worth while lol.
I'm glad you think so, mate! And currently, I admittedly don't have any ideas for going further with this story, especially given how long I've been tinkering with this part, but if this story does well and I end up thinking of somewhere to take things, you can bet you'll see more from me!

Love how you utilized Ruby's character whether it be her genuinely believing she's doing the right thing, separating herself into Officer Connors and Ruby, or letting her get to know Jemima.
I especially loved the line where she's trying to calm Jemima down and she tells her that he's not ready.
Author's Response:
I really appreciate that, and thanks so much for the review! I felt it was important to try and make Ruby an actual character instead of a simple insert for fetish content to occur around, so I'm glad that seems like it worked out.
And yeah, can't lie that I think a lot of Ruby's dialogue came out pretty well in the end.
