Super histoire, peut-être qu’un groupe de petits pourrait partir en exploration de l’appartement de Jeannine, inconsciente?
pour voir le monde gigantesque
Author's Response:
I will consider it. I like the idea.
Je vais prendre cela en considération. J'aime l'idée. (I hope this translated correctly!)

As stated in my review for chapter 12, I believe this chapter alone deserves a review.
Getting to see Nick open up about his tragic backstory is just so well done here. The emotions are raw, and it feels freeing for him to be able to speak without fear of repercussion. He is allowed to feel here, and where he is coming from is understandable and quite relatable. I'd love to see it broken down more in the future, perhaps seeing how he can help others who might be like him. I'm sure there is no shortage of Lillis who have the same story.
How Jeannine handles it is also fantastic. Honestly, as sad as the chapter is, it's also super uplifting to see the emotions handled well, and I'm excited to see how other characters develop. These moments are critical to the worldbuilding in this story, and I can't get enough of it!
Author's Response: I'm glad that the chapter was so well received. I spent a long time writing the dialogue for it, more than I'd like to admit. It's moments like those that I wished to see in other size-stories. As you probably read in Chapter 1's notes, I'm so sick of the same old cruel, sadistic, horny giant character having their way with tiny people. Genuine human compassion is something I feel would realistically exist, even in a world as dark as this fictional one. And to some extent, the characters' emotions reflect how I, as the author, feel about people in my own life. It's all a big metaphor, really.
There are a few chapters that really "stand out" in the story, at least to me. I hope you'll enjoy them as much as you did this one.
...and leave me a review with your thoughts!

It's rare to find a well written story on this site. It's also rare to find a well written one that is highly entertaining and gets you emotionally invested. I can count those stories on one hand to be honest. I'm very glad to say this is one of those stories. The raw emotions displayed in earlier chapters deserves an entire review by itself, so I'll do just that. As for the story as a whole, so far, it's fantastic.
The worldbuilding is intriguing; though the concept has been used a lot, it feels like those elements are being used well here and going forward I'd love to see more as Nick views the Brob world. Maybe even have some of Jeannine's friends come into play and have some danger enter. Maybe more people feel like Jeannine does? Surely there must be some. The possibilities for this story are honestly endless.
The characters are all fantastic so far. Jeannine is incredibly sweet. Nick started out as okay to me, but has grown into a much better character thanks to him finally opening up. Ori is...I'm not sure yet but I'm excited to see what she does in the future. Auri too is an exciting new addition, and I'm sure there will be other POVs established, but hopefully not too many. Can't oversaturate the main cast. But, it could be done if they all feel fleshed out. I'm excited to see where all that goes!
So, yes, this story is certainly shaping up to be one of my favorites on this site, and I'm eager to read more.
Author's Response:
What a detailed review! I appreciate you taking the time to express all of that. I'd like to share some thoughts with you as well:
I take the worldbuilding very seriously. A realistic world makes for believable characters. You'll be seeing a lot more of Nick and Ori, but Jeannine will always be the focus. They comprise the main cast, at least for now. Some of the other character, such as Aurelia, have one-off chapters in which we follow their POV. I don't (currently) intend to focus on them, but who knows? Maybe that will change. I think it's important to shift POVs between the big and small. As much as I love size interaction, these characters live in very different worlds. Each of them believes their race is the 'normal' one. It wouldn't make sense for someone like Jeannine to think of herself as a giantess in her everyday life, for example. I think that's the reason why so many stories fall flat. The characters are too one-dimensional to be realistic, let alone compelling. But hey, that's just my take.
I hope you'll continue to enjoy what I have in store ;)

I must congratulate you on a very good story. It must be because I'm a big fan of the Gentle genre. But I love the interactions between the characters and their points of view. Keep it up. As for ideas, I don't know... maybe it would be a good idea for Magna Gratia to face some situations with, for example, insects attacking the city or a Brob discovering it. What about Jeanine's family? I mean, I think the story still has a lot to say?
Author's Response:
Thank you! I'm writing this for the gentle fans such as yourself (and me ofc). I do have something planned to do with cleaning, so stayed tuned for that. As for her family... There's little I can say without spoiling. There will be at least one chapter involving her mother, but that's far down the line.

Oh my GOD this story is so fantastic! The interactions are so sweet and gentle. The differences in how each lilly reacts/views their new situation and Jeannine makes this much more interesting. Can't wait to see more from this story so I'm happy to read that you plan to put out lots of chapters! I need more of this gentle goodness injected straight to my veins.
Author's Response:
You are too kind! I sometimes worry that such a gentle story can become uneventful or boring. Hopefully I can keep entertaining you with the wholesomeness.

Great work so far, really loving the character work so far, they all feel like people with actual thoughts. Naturally, my guilty side is a little sad Jeannine has taken more of a backseat these past few chapters. But that will likely only make it better whenever she has her next "thorough" interaction with her Lilliputian "Colony". I am curious to see what you have planned.
Also I saw what you meant about formatting in your review to my story. I have no idea how that happened in the last chapter, fixed now. (Apparently you can't edit review replies so I thought I'd let you know here)
Never go wrong with an enormous sweetheart! Though being the number-weirdo I am, I can't help but wonder what scale factors you used between the sizes. As in, I wonder how tall Jeannine would be in Lilli measurements.
Author's Response:
Thanks! Your “A Micro’s Perspective” is such a pleasure to read too. Keep up the good work!
Rest assured, Jeannine will have many chapters in the future. Everyone gets a turn, but she will always be the focus.
The scale factors I used were approximately 1:72 between each race. That means 1:72^2 for Lilli-Brob conversions. There’s actually a very useful tool on this site called “Giantess Converter v3.05”. I use it alongside my own, more specific calculations.

New chapter! It's always a pleasure to read this. I really like the characters, so I'm dying to see them interacting more. Great story so far! <3
Author's Response:
Thank you! I've got so many chapters to upload, but I want to keep a good pace. You'll get to see a lot more of that soon! (It's already written lol)

This seems like it will be an utterly adorable story with the perfect Lilli-Brob dynamic. I have to admit there's something nice about a gargantuan lady being so nice and gentle with the literal specks. Not having anything lewd isn't really my style, but it's bound to be great regardless of that stuff.
I look forward to more cuteness between our lovely Brob landlord and her nigh-microscopic "tenants"! Good up the good work!
Author's Response:
I hope to live up to your expectations! :)
