I find myself coming back to this story from time to time.
Any chance we'll see more of Thalassa in the future?

A wonderful representation of the legend of Atlantis. The idea that it's now little more than a collection for a curious monstrous girl is just too good.
Though, anthill may be more appropriate XD
Seeing as she can now observe them at her own leisure. That is should they survive the trip into the sea.
Author's Response:
She’s stuffed a lot of the humans into her “sensitive inky areas” which is up to the reader to determine what exactly that is lol. The rest she’s put in her stomach, and others are in big globs of slime on her tentacles which act like protective bubbles.
We’ll see if there’s much of a city at all when we eventually get to her lair at some point!

Thalassa is a most massive monstrosity. She is also, apparently, rather unaware, or indifferent to the devastation she causes. Scenes where you portrayed sailors dying by suffocating on sticky substance, or getting caught in between her tentacles and ship hulls really sell how puny human life really is to her. At the same time, she is portrayed as rather fascinated with civilization herself, with how mankind can construct and build (relative) wonders. It's a fun paradox with her that you set up.
I can't imagine everyone surviving the journey to her lair, considering where she ... stored ... some of the people. It would be interesting to see how she presides over the now lost city of Atlantea. Will she micromanage? Will she become terrible? Indifferent? Careless? Will she take her fascination with male seamen too far (giggity)? I do believe this oneshot is due for a continuation ...
... once Deliverance is completed.
Author's Response:
It was really fun writing from her otherworldly perspective! Thalassa views humans sort of the same way a normal person would view an ant colony, so when she tries to make her own collection she isn’t too devastated when a lot die in the process or when their civilization is broken apart for her own amusement in her lair.
And we will most definitely see a continuation of Atlantea at some point! It’s a fun world with lots of potential interactions to explore as Thalassa ‘acquaints’ herself with the little ones ;)
