Adam was about three inches tall, in theory he could have probably climbed out of Kira's shoes, but we both know he probably didn't want to lol. Nea needs to learn a lot of lessons.

I do have a few questions about the setting.
1. The Zetans, they all look human but with green skin and pointed elf-like ears right? And they are taller than humans? What's their average height?
2. Are there any other aliens other than the Zetans and Cephelos?
3. There's a 50 to 1 gender difference? Damn, does that mean the Zetan women would seek human men because Zetan men are rare?
4. Just how many Zetans are in favor of humans being equals and how many in favor of humans being pets?

I'll do my best.
1. Zetans look human with green skin and pointed ears, the average Zetan female is between six and seven feet tall, with a few on the outer distributions, you could possibly encounter a naturally eight foot tall Zetan woman but it would be extremely rare. Zetan males are around normal human height.
2. The story will explore this in some detail later, but there were other space civilizations the Zetans knew about but they were all quickly wiped out by the Cephalos, who were previously unknown to the Zetans, basically they appeared and wiped out all of the Zetans neighbors in a few days, the Zetans only survived because they discovered the squid weakness to humans in time to save themselves. There are some refugees from the dead civilizations out outlying Zetan worlds, but probably none on Earth or Zeta Prime.
3. Zetans typically share or "rent" a male, with high ranking ones such as the empress having a personal consort, they're also not averse to using cloning tech or artificial wombs for reproduction, it's all up to personal choice when a Zetan wants to start a family. That said a species with more abundant males is intriguing to them, and a lot of them like the idea of having their own which would have been difficult before.
4. Probably about 40% of their population wholly and truly sees humans as equals, maybe even loves humans a little too much, another 40% is taking a pragmatic approach and wants a dominant relationship with humanity but at the same time knows they need them for the war, these types probably like to imagine they'd be "kind" to humans they shrank even if they would never see them as equals. The "shrink 'em all right now!" party probably has about 10% support, with the remaining 10% of the population being the type of people who mark "no opinion" on surveys.

Can't wait for the next installment! I'm getting heavy "One Year Lease" vibes from the protagonists which is never a bad thing. I love how the male lead in this story is also just as resentful as the female lead because it makes it more realistic. It makes it a true enemies to lovers since they both truly hate the other side at least for now.
Hell I'd probably hate the Zetans if I lived in that universe. It would take a while for them to convince me otherwise and I'd probably want to live off the grid with a bunch of explosives like Ted Kaczynski just to avoid getting abducted in paranoia.
Sorry for the rant, the way you write aliens always makes me resent them which is probably a testament to how good your writing is since it always gives me "War of the Worlds" vibes. I'm typically not passionate about sci-fi but you always manage to get me excited for it.

It seems pretty natural to hate the Zetans given their history with Earth, these particular aliens are a lot meaner than most of the ones I write, even if the current generation is less hostile to humanity. The only thing that really forced the humans and Zetans together was a shared enemy that would have wiped them both out, humans are immune to squid mind powers, and Zetans have the tech and industry to stand a fighting chance.

Conquest of Earth was originally a one-shot and then grew into a episodic story, while I liked it a lot it was also a pretty goofy and lighthearted world and it wasn't quite the tone I wanted for this one. Obviously we have a few similarities, mostly with the space elves and the multifaceted alien invasions, but this is a less friendly visit from the stars, the humans of this world would kill to just be dealing with 90 foot catgirls lol. This one should also have a much tighter overall narrative, here's hoping people like it.

And we're getting a little political again! I very much liked how One Year Lease showed a society that took a turn for the better!

Yeah Conquest of Earth was a little too lighthearted of a setting to tell the story I wanted, so I decided to make a new one. Obviously while Zetans and Humans are stuck as allies and don't really care for each other, the powers that be on both sides are committed to working through things... too bad the princess is off to cause the mother of all diplomatic incidents.

Always love your stories. They are not to focused on the smut, but also don't shy away from it. Also how you have a clear path, not a forever story that just wont end. And of course the consistent updates. You are truly a gift to the community! Great start to another. Can't wait to read more!

I've been to Iowa a few times, not exactly a tourist hotspot but it's not a bad place either. I thought it would make a good opening setting for this story, corn and all. I try to outline all of my stories before I start working on them, it really makes it a lot easier to finish when you have a roadmap for where you're going.
