A very cute chapter, its good to see them having a good time on their date. Jen is such a cutie.
Also its good to see another chapter on this story, i really enjoy reading it.

*sighs* looks like another great story has been forgotten. How much longer til a new chapter >_
Date: October 29 2009 4:56 PM Title: Ashley returns
Ashley returns...and Sarah is missing? In a story like this, there's only one explanation for that.
And, it ain't coincidence! ;-)
Welcome home, and good job.
Date: October 28 2009 7:36 AM Title: Return to normalcy
Its funny the last day or so i was thinking about and wondering if i will see a new chapter soon.
Am happy to see this story is still going on. The story has been very good and fun to read.
You have been doing a grate job on it and i very much look forward to seeing and reading more.

Heh! At the rate they keep lying to John, Bobby and Jen should call it "April Foo's Ball."
Ba-DUM-Boom!
Seriously, though: thanks for finally updating. This new chapter is a nice pre-Halloween treat.

You know, it's kinda nice to see Bobby's paranoia validated. Yeah, I feel bad for Jen, getting duped into a date with that jerk, but this issue has been weighing on Bobby for most of the story. It would have been a little pathetic if he was worrying all this time for nothing.
As for Jack, it sounds like he tried to make his play too quick. He should have done the friend thing for awhile and attempted to get a read on the strength of her current relationship before getting "touchy" with Jen. Maybe he was suffering from a case of ostrich syndrome? Or maybe he had an alterior motive.
It's nice to see things looking up for Bobby for once. Of course, I have my doubts that date promised at the end of the chapter is going to go as planned...

Hmmmmm! Andy is out on probation, with a restraining order. A month later, another old flame of Jen's shows up who all but tries to force-feed her some chocolate candy.
An alliance of convenience between two egotistical ex-boyfriends? With magically spiked candies as a secret weapon? Interesting sub-plot!*
*Assuming I'm right.

hightmares: ironic typo or freudian slip?
I echo the sentiment about emotional realism other reviewers have related to this chapter. Bobby's tension really seeps through the writing from start to finish.
I like how Kim not only always seems to know what Bobby's thinking, but also finds a way to get it out of him as well. It creates a very unique dynamic between them. She raised some pretty good points in this chapter, too. One in particular I've been wondering about since the end of the original story...
And another epic cliffhanger to end the chapter, damn you!

To paraphrase an old saying: "Even paranoids have the right to be right, once in a while."
In other words: good job with the emotional realism. :-)

love how everything seamless flows together. well done. love the cliff hanger. very nice and clean, yet realistic. looking forward to next chapter.

Well, Sarah's a bit of a hypocrite, too. Maybe not intentionally, or even consciously. But, a hypocrite, none-the-less. Because, she promises to take care of him. And, yet she plays with him like a terrible two-year old with a new toy!*
That, plus her undeniably VISIBLE effort to remember to call him by his given name when shrunken (just as frequently as she calls him "Bobby" when he's normal-sized), give him good reason to be somewhat exasperated with Sarah.
*And, we all know how not-long toys last with those kinds of kids. :-(

This was a very enjoyable chapter.
You had some pretty good descriptions in this addition. Bobby's perspective from the window sil and his dealing with the chilling winds in the grass were particularly well done. Not only do they paint a nice picture, but they put the reader through Bobby's dilemma as well.
The pool room scene was pretty neat. I liked the way Bobby tried to have faith in Sarah, but couldn't fend off his nervousness. It was also morbidly funny how his silver lining to his grim situation was that he could cling to the side of the pocket and possibly avoid being squashed by a giant billiard ball. It gave Sarah a reason to call him out on his hypocrisy, too.
Man, cell phones sure are nice to have when you're tiny.

You raise a good point, there, dude.
If Jen--a natural extrovert--feels overwhelmed when in a shrunken state, it's got to be twice as bad for an introvert like Bobby!
Date: June 22 2009 8:06 AM Title: It don't mean Jack
Let that be a lesson to all my fellow guys, out there. You're better off being a hermit bachelor, unless you can find a girl willing to promise that she'll NEVER ask lose/lose questions like: "Does this dress make me
look fat?"
And, of course, there's NO SUCH GIRL.
;-)
Date: June 22 2009 2:28 AM Title: It don't mean Jack
That was intense, man!
That was a very noble move, allowing Jen some extra time at regular size. It probably wasn't the brightest thing to do, but I guess that just shows how much he cares about her. Too bad she didn't see it that way.
Jen knows how to hit somebody where it hurts. Planning that date with Jack was one of the worst things she could do to Bobby. It was interesting to find out Jack is just like that guy that Kim cheated on him with. That gives justification to his jealousy.
Kim's back! I was wondering when you were going to write her back into the story. I'm definitely reading the next chapter now.
Date: June 18 2009 9:23 PM Title: New girl in town
Well, this was a very intriguing chapter.
Sarah's fascination with the shrinking process took me a bit by surprise. I thought she just wanted to play around with Bobby, but it seems my off-hand comment pertaining to her and a certain fetish might not have been too far off. The fact that she was actually waiting for them seems to help build this case as well.
Hey, another new character breaks onto the scene! Not only that, but it looks like she's got a thing for Bobby. Her shyness makes her kinda cute, too. I think I'm gonna like Ashley.
I wonder what made Jen madder: The fact that she has to hide in Sarah's pocket (during a time that was initially meant to be for just the Bobby and her, no less), or the fact that this is because of another girl. Perhaps the green monster is about to rear its ugly head (again)?
The overall writing was spot on, as usual. I liked how dialog heavy this chapter was, too.

Ohhhhhhh, brother! Other people have romantic triangles. But, only Bobby could get himself into a romantic RECTANGLE.
Super-lol!

"No big deal." Yeah, right. And, GWB is a third-term POTUS.

So far am loveing this part 2 of the story, you give something for both sides. A small guy for the ones that love when the woman is the bigger one and then ones like my self that love it when the girl is small and the guy is the bigger one.
But i can't help but feel sorry for Bobby when he is small that Jen may take advantage of him or might do something that will hurt his feelings in some way.
Keep up the grate work, i very much look forward to reading more.
