My advice is to write at whatever pace you feel works for you, if it's more motivating to work on bite sized daily chapters, then do that, if you feel like you want a longer segment, try it and see if the result makes you happy.
As for the ongoing plot, it seems like Max and Procerita know that Aelmari won't engage in lethal force if he's "on her person," I wonder if that will factor into their plans. I wonder how Max will take their offers of "adoption" compared to his current captivity? He does seem to like where he's at, even if he won't admit it. Anyways keep up the good work!

Glad you’re getting invested! I would like to use the Aelmari as a driving point in the emotional conflict of the story. It’s so much fun to write I don’t think I’ll ever have it in me to have it end.

Interesting plot being set up, I like the idea of an "executioner" Aelmari, probably something a bit heavier duty than Lyrei and Isstvell I'm guessing. Maybe Max can talk it down, or maybe the two of them end up on the run, either way glad to see Max isn't totally adverse to a space adventure, because he's in one now.

The idea would be the executioners are average with combat but have more advanced lie detectors and interrogation methods than scouts. Taking great pride in their work, they understand the biology of their opponents to a T and bend it to their will. The idea would be to add an opponent who can show off the bad side of the Aelmari’s incredible power.

I liked it a lot! I see we're starting on day one of the invasion, I'm guessing Procerita will manage to do better than Clara did at evading the Aelmari? Either way it's off to a good start, Glalans are always fun characters to write, I think you got their mindset pretty well. I'm hoping that she and Max get closer, it's a harsh galaxy out there for a fugitive catgirl!
Also as for adding to a series I think you just go to the series page while logged in and there's an "add to" thing below the description, I double checked to make sure it was open. Here's a direct link to the series page since the series listing on the side of the homepage seems to not be working.
