The settings look great and has a lot of potential!

Perhaps the story could continue to revolve around the empress like this, and how she treat the peasants differently from most nobles but still end up with the same result.

Gentle, virtuous, and somewhat naive young lady just doing her best for the people but still accidentally obliterate dozens or hundreds of them under her sheer goodwill has that uniquely irresistible charm.
