Great story, and glad you were able to finish it. I remember reading NotSirk's latest M/m story (Generation Gap) which unfortunately been left in limbo, then reading some other stories in the universe. It's a very interesting world you two have setup. That other story mentioned that even CYCLOS have a natural limit of about 8 or so meters or 30ft, to prevent them from being too big for society. It seem Megan, despite being huge, adheres to that as well. It's kinda of touching how sweet they can act toward minors like Audrey. MAJORS and CYCLOS may tend to see minors as inferior pets, but they are beloved pets.
I for one, hope we see the M/m universe continue in the future.

I am toying with the idea of a new story either focused on Anna, Alejandro and Shannon's firstborn or more generally on the Matthewson Foundation and its shaddiest aspects. Nothing written yet, but I have it in the back of my mind.

Good work! I enjoyed the chapter, but I still feel a bit unfulfilled about the story as a whole. Audrey has a lot of reservations about being with a MAJOR that haven’t been addressed, and I still think Megan wants to turn her into a toy. I would love to see the story get a sequel or epilogue.
I understand why Audrey forgave Megan’s use of the bond, but I still think Audrey was robbed of something important. She’s already developing an inferiority complex about living in a world of MAJORs, and there’s a difference between being told you took one down and actually remembering doing it. She will make new memories with Megan, but probably won’t shoot someone again.
I liked the sex scene. I enjoy any instance of a minor seizing control of the bond. I also like Audrey’s realism that this is just lust right now. For as smart as Megan is supposed to be, it doesn’t really come across. She must be extremely emotional.
I have a few lingering questions:
1. Why aren’t minors in the preserve taught about the bond?
2. Why can’t Audrey see over the wall, considering she has internet access and talks to friends abroad?

Well, I'm toying with the idea of expanding again the M/m universe, with NotSirk's seal of approval, so we may see more of those two. No promises yet, but it's a possibility.
Regarding the minors in the Preserve being left in the dark regarding the Bond and why Audrey can't go and see the world beyond the wall, it's a policy put in place by the Matthewson Foundation to make it acceptable to the MAJORS majority. The Matthewsons are monstrously powerful in many fields by the time this story takes place but even they needed to put some rules in place to make the Preserve System acceptable.
"Minors must not learn about the Bond" and "They can only see the outside world if they leave their Preserve for good" are two such rules. They were put in place to avoid a repeat of the Dark Age, which was born out of the MAJORS fear of the Bond back then.
In Audrey's case, as she serves in the Outer Border, she get access to the real Internet. But it's of little concern to the powers that be, they expect such minors to Bond with their Partner and follow them when the will to discover the world becomes too strong to resist.
Even Audrey may end up wanting to go, in the future, and the "you can't see the Outside World so close to you" is effectively a good way to weed out minors that showed little interest in it but ended up unable to not take a glance while serving in the Outer Border.

Really great story so far. MAJORS/minors is one of my favorite series on the site, and I am glad to see it continue. I love the way the superiority of the MAJORS is balanced against the greater proficiency with the bond that minors possess.
I love Audrey’s character. A realistic minor who strives for independence but still gets overwhelmed sometimes. I hope you don’t end the story with her robbed of her memory. As painful as it may be, it was a key part of her character growth. Validation that she could be independent. If she doesn’t remember that, her relationship with Megan will be based on a lie.
I have complicated thoughts about Megan. At first I was annoyed about how narcissistic she was and how she objectified Audrey, but her thoughts make more sense when you realize that she is a MAJOR and has a different mind than us. I still don’t think she quite respects Audrey enough, but I think Audrey can look after herself too. We’ll see what the last chapter brings.

Ok so this is the second time that Megan has used the bond to manipulate Audrey, if i'm her i'm going to be pissed because Megan is CONTINUING to infantalise her by ttrying to make her forget an event that was the cause of her standing up for herself and saving her own life.
It's not a minor thing(pun intended) to have a strong negative reaction to killing someone for the first time, hell I gurantee even the average Major would be quite upset if they had too, even my girl the super nonchalant Mei would be perturbed by having to commit such an act, and that bitch only cares for herself, Izellah and her family.
She hasn't learned a thing.
It'll be interesting to see it blow up in Megan's face....again.
Now this arc has been a very shift in the tone for the series so far I wasn't expecting something like this for a while, at least after a build up of more slice of life chapters beforehand.
I'm very curious as to what the deal is with these amateur assassins comming after the border gaurds.
While I admosnished Megan earlier for her infantilisation I kinda liked when she really enjoyed how powerful she is, is quite fond of that "big ol me will have to take a direct approach" scene when she showed of her power by creating a mini earthquake by stomping the ground and that probably wasn't anywhere NEAR as powerful as a stmp as she could've given.
It'll be great to see her at full power more often and see the effect her pure Cyclo power has on the world around he when she's not holding her strength back.
It's interesting to see that the Majors are also trained killers too, Minor preservation is serious business man.
I can't wait for more. Getting a window intot his universe is always welcome.

For once, Megan's action wasn't conscious, just her freaking out and using the Bond to help Audrey deal with it. You will see how it impact (or not) the two of them in the remaining three chapters !

I really like the pairing here:
A minor girl who has never met a MAJOR before meets not just any MAJOR but a CYCLO.
Also, Megan being so adamant about withholding Audrey from the outside world makes me wonder just how much has changed in the last, I guess, 100 years it took for this reservation to be set up.
With Megan calling normal MAJORs "small" (even if it's from her perspective), maybe the number of CYCLOs has increased and it's now normal to see them walking around. In addition, I have this personal headcanon about a whole new subsect of MAJORs called "GIGANTs" who have evolved in this period and are at least twice as big as CYCLOs!
