This is a really good story. Not enough alien giantesses of such variety. 

I can easily see that at some point, someone or some of the bigger aliens work out the genetics of the smaller ones, and made the smallest race they could. Just so they could have a pet civilization to use, make them breed fast but live really long just cause. Whats a 1cm person to someone who’s 100m (300ft).

And since theres smuggling, obviously someone used their wedge heels to smuggle (both people and cargo) stuff. Especially if its a bigger person moving really small scaled cargo. Or how many places smaller aliens can make in big ships. 

Then theres all the size interfacing technology that has to have been invented in places that actually try to care for everyone equally. 

And back on the verity thing, you got lots of different colours and even people with scales and different eyes like Mèy, but I bet some have claws, feathers, fur, tails, webbed hand and feet, digitigrade, chitin, and more then two arms. Not even talking of people biomoding themselves and all of that. You got lots of options open to use.

So your doing good, really good.
