Masterfully poignant reconciliation. :-)
Author's Response:
Thanks for the kind praise, Carycomic!

OK! So, I was wrong about the identity of his would-be abductor. Although, as you emphasized how she kept to the shadows, I wouldn't be surprised if the abductor was the obsessed fan out on bail!
In any case, great plot twist with the return of Samantha.

I notice you didn't specify whether the high heels were candy-striped or resembled pale pink kittens. Which makes me half-expect that they'll belong to a third party. And with Jerry's luck, that's liable to be the blonde party girl from the VIP Lounge! But, to paraphrase Glinda the Good Witch:
"Is that a good thing...or a bad thing?"
Author's Response:
Thanks for noticing, Carycomic. I realize this comment was a little while ago, but I only just noticed some errors in the Skyros chapters regarding Zo's descriptions. So, if it was confusing, that was my fault! It said her hair was red, then ebony, then red again, and her heels were candy striped, then magenta. Details were changed but not edited consistently. Zo's hair is supposed to be ebony, not red and her heels are candy-striped, not magenta. It's also probably not very clear in the story, but the kitten heels belong to Zo's friend Hannah.
With all these discrepancies, it's amazing that Jerry was able to physically identify her in the club at all! I sure made it hard for him (and the reader) anyway!
Next time I post an update I will fix this.

I noticed whenever they have a small disagreement about him staying small, Jen immediately moves to something sexual to digress.
Author's Response:
Thanks for your comment, and for noticing that. Yes it's not a coincidence. It's one way to quickly put an end to a disagreement. But it's also her way of proving to Jerry his worth at current size, with action rather than words.

OOPS! Forgot to rate the last five chapters. Ten points, apiece.
Author's Response:
Thanks Carycomic!

I can only presume the obsessed fan was hauled off by the cops while Jerry was occupied. Or, should I say, occupying (Jen's intestines)?
Date: November 12 2021 10:17 PM Title: Chapter 36: A Day on the Bay Part 1
Is this an obsessed fan? And, if so, is she the mysterious "businesswoman" who wanted to so urgently meet him during the TV interview?
Date: November 12 2021 9:58 PM Title: Chapter 35: Flashback: The GPR
So, the only way she could back into Jerry's life was to dominate him in his new condition? I'm tempted to say "Typical alpha female." But, that wouldn't be politically correct!
So, I won't. ;-)

So, now we get to see Jen's initial reaction, to Jerry's shrinkage, in the next chapter? I'm off to it, straight away. And, yes, these last few chapters have once again proven riveting! :-)

Mysteriouser and mysteriouser!
Date: November 05 2021 2:57 PM Title: Chapter 31: Modelling In Miniature
I hope Ms. Wu is not some vengeance-seeking lesbian acquaintance of Jerry's former captor?
Author's Response:
Not vengeful, but definitely 'aggressively networking'. It's not clear in the story because I like to imply background stuff rather than point it out, so I'll put here for interest; Vianne noted Jerry's acquaintance with Samantha, and since she also professionally knows Samantha, she did some 'social triangulation' and contacted Sam to get closer to Jerry (for social climbing purposes, not intimacy).

Moral of the chapter? Don't drink the Kolade!
I loved these last three chapters. Literally riveting!
Date: October 27 2021 12:57 PM Title: Chapter 27: Vet Consultation
The most plausible emo scene, yet. That's precisely why I try to keep my own short fuse on an even shorter leash. To prevent myself from saying something I might NOT regret!
Author's Response:
Yeah, I imagine Jerry and Jennifer's relationship in 'real life' is a little more frictive than I portray it, they are both a little stubborn and when they butt heads it's a case of an immoveable object meeting an unstoppable force. They fight and make up, and so on. I thought if I showed too much of that it would be obnoxious and make both characters detestable, so it was a choice between portraying the characters as they 'are' or cleaning up the ugly stuff a little, and implying it (rather than actually showing it) like with smashed glass on the ground. I don't think people read these stories to read about people fighting, but some conflict is necessary, so it's a balance.

"I was napping." Lol! Good save, Jer.
Seriously, though: Christine raises a valid point. Jennifer doesn't want to give up her maiden surname. Yet, she evidently doesn't regard her upcoming marriage as an equal partnership even if she and Jerry were both normal-sized. So, it strikes me that she's over-compensating. Establishing the hen-pecking order, right away. Which could lead to her own version of Samantha-ville if she's not careful!

There are two possible explanations for this chapter.
1) Another case of pre-wedding jitters.
2) He's not imagining things at all and Remy (aka alternate-future Jeremy) really has struck again.
Author's Response:
Mostly pre-wedding jitters. Actually the chapter was an excuse for me to write a scene where Jerry was even smaller than previously, but I didn't want to disrupt the plot. So I was trying to have my cake and eat by making it a nightmare.

You make a legitimate point about marriage. I despise the TV dramas where the fictional couples claim they tell each other everything. BS! Everybody keeps at least 1% of their private lives private...even from emotionally close loved ones!
Which is one of the reasons I gave two thumbs-down to the moral of the story in "Circle" with ex-Hermione Granger.
Author's Response:
I never saw Circle (I have, however seen a moderately entertaining movie called 'the Circle' about a group of people voting on who among them dies, but anyway...) but I've heard it's underwhelming. And I think movies and TV dramas are very hit and miss for containing a moral lesson -- they should put all their energy into crafting a good story and worry about the morals later!

Well, so far/so good. Maybe I was being needlessly paranoid.
Date: October 22 2021 2:04 PM Title: Chapter 18: A Different Proposal
I just had a horrible thought. Is Farris from a skin-flick outfit?
Author's Response:
Farris is a little sleazy but not like that! His references to Jerry having the right body is just that Jerry can play live action tiny characters.
Date: October 22 2021 2:01 PM Title: Chapter 17: Bottled
Whew! I thought sure he had been shrink-napped by the bachelor party entertainer. Glad to see I was wrong!
Date: October 15 2021 3:32 AM Title: Chapter 13: Proposal
Don't do it, Jerry! Stay a swinging single!! Otherwise...
... "You'll be SAW-rhee!"
