If I were a friend of Robin's husband, I would have been more than glad to use lack-of-plus-one as an excuse to stay home.  I can count on one hand the number of real-life wedding receptions I've been to where I've had fun.

Great start! 

I like where this is going. Alexis sounds like fun and I love how you said that she likes to do things her way. 

She seems kinda playful and dominant. One of my favorite combinations. 

I can't wait for the next chapter!
