Fantastic story mate love the slow burn at the start, was worth the wait. would be great to see a follow up, potentially having Dana get involved somehow, wether it be unaware, or getting involved with Tina and Amy.

If it ever hits u I would like a proper follow up seeing Evie and Tina being a good master and pet

I have to admit I would love a real follow up to this story. I love Evie and Tina and want to see their relationship evolve even more, also I love the teasing between Nice owner and little Shrinkee, their isn’t enough of that in my opinion.

I'm not lying when I say this is one of the best stories I've ever read on this site. I wouldn't change a single word of this.

Holy crap. I think this was one of the most expertly written chapters I've ever read in quite a while. Keep up the good work!

I loved the original story. Particularly the way it ended, that Evie became so submissive and loved her new life.
I don't really understand the new summer story. It's back when Eva tries to escape. We know this doesn't happen so I'm curious as to why you chose that timeline?
Author's Response:
I would simply say don't fret too much about it haha. There's a lot of ambiguous time skips in the story, so best to think of it as fitting somewhere in there. Or if you prefer it could be totally standalone. I'm glad you like the story though!

Well that was quite the adventure, and a not insignificant part of the fun was talking about it with Barrowman and panzerhunter. It changed the way I saw the story, and gave me a lot of ideas that I wouldn't have come up with on my own. Another big part of the fun was the satisfying subversion of expectations. I legit thought that Eva would shrink Tina at first, and I failed to guess the actual ending until just a few chapters before. Good work!
Author's Response:
Thank you so much! I won't lie, it was very enjoyable reading you guys talking about the story and all your different speculations. I would've added to it if I wasn't worried I'd had spoiled something haha.

This story was amazing from start to finish, thank you for writing it!
Do you think we'd ever see a potential short spin-off about Eva being the one to shrink Tina?
Author's Response:
Thank you!
I dunno about a full on spin-off, but I could easily see a one off or something at some point.

Well that was a surprise. I didn't expect to see Tina make Eva bigger. Now I'm just waiting to see what they do in the long term, and where Tina goes with the knowledge that she can do this to a bully.

Superb storytelling and character development!

Wow there's, a lot of reviews already. Lot's been said, some good, some bad, so I won't bother recapping anything.
What I will say is that this is the sort of story that probably only could have been told as size smut, which is a weird thing to say about anything. The way it goes full on with this weird winding fucked up almost romance feels kinda like a slightly more fetishistic genderswapped Killing Stalking, where the characters are well written specifically to highlight the fucked ness, where the parts that are sweet and hot almost feel put there to specifically reflect the parts that are just Eve losing her fucking mind to stockholme syndrome.
The latest chapter (29) is like, almost the peak of this. The constant swing between Tina the meek office lady and Tina the megalomaniac nightmare feels like you're on a boat in the middle of a hurricane, and the way Eve slowly loses the ability to tell the difference between the two is as fucked as it is hot. Is it a fucked up dynamic that happens to be hot or is it a hot dynamic that happens to be fucked up? It's not entirely clear, but I think the great thing about kink spaces is that you can kinda explore that without the usual need to wonder about morality and decency.

That's the most likely way the rest of the story goes since we are in the denouement. I'd accept that if it wasn't for my old friend Ensign Chekov... I mean Anton Chekhov.
Chekhov's gun demands that something be done with the voice telling Evie that she's still Eva.
It was small enough in the previous chapter to not even get a line of dialogue. It could have been a throwaway If left at that. It's in force in this chapter until Tina pays attention.
Likewise, the last few chapters have shown the was in Tina between her evil
and her guilt/concern.
And, Tina makes Eva promise to behave.
That's just this chapter.
I'll be disappointed when none of those ducks hunt. The story could have and probably should have ended in the previous chapter if that's all there is to it. It's too well written for 3 superfluous chapters.

At this point, it looks like Tina and Eva will have a sex scene, and Eva will stay Tina's pet indefinitely. Amy will continue to observe Eva. I was just thinking that we might be in the denouement, because there isn't enough story left for another climax.
Author's Response:
You caught me for the next chapter haha. Well played.

I've given up trying to figure this story out. Who hurt you asterisk? /s Blink with one eye if you need help.
Dana clearly isn't coming to the rescue though. Every chapter where nebulously large amounts of time pass (weeks, months, years?)and we haven't seen any action from Dana despite Amy putting it together immediately, is starting to strain credulity a bit for me. At this point, I can only imagine she figured it out and decided to throw Eva under the bus for the company. How much time has passed anyway?
Is Tina about to do something stupid? Making Eva promise to behave sounds like she's about to do something stupid. Please let her do something stupid. It already seems like Tina is having Eva larger than 1 inch while at work if Eva can type on a tablet. A one inch woman wouldn't be large enough to reach further than the space bar on any touch keyboard I've ever seen.
Can we just have the last 2 chapters? This is torture.
Author's Response:
Okay, that got a pretty real laugh out of me.
For your own sanity I will say we are in the denoument as it were, so very firmly in the wrapup phase. Also, a big reason why Amy was able to piece it together is she works directly with the technology and noticed some irregularities. The same cannot be so easily said for others.
Just a couple more chapters and I'll stop being coy haha, I promise.

Tina has everything she ever wanted. Eva is an attentive pet. Its good that there's still a voice inside her that is sane, even if it is small. Trauma can lessen over time, and maybe that voice can fight for control again.
This story gives me so much anxiety. That means you did a good job, so don't think I'm saying its a bad thing.
If Eva gets rescued and restored, I petition for a sequel story called 'A Lesson in Karma' where Tina and Amy get to experience what they did to Eva first hand while Eva relearns being human.

The story could end right here. Tina's goal was to put a bully in her place, and that's been fully accomplished. Remmeber when people (myself included) thought that Eva would shrink Tina? How far we've come from that.
But something's going to happen to upend everything, and it's going to come from two people. Amy and Dana have been doing something that we haven't seen because we're seeing everything from Tina's perspective. Amy is manipulating Tina toward some end that it unknown to us because Tina is too childlike to realize that Amy's friendliness is a facade. Dana probably suspects Tina, and with the help of the police officer we saw earlier, is about to spring into action and take Tina down. Earlier in the story, Amy figured out that Tina used the shrinker, because Tina didn't recharge it. It's likely that Dana knows about that too. However, I doubt that Dana and Amy are working together - they have opposite goals, and so they'll probably be in conflict.
One last thing to note is that we haven't actually seen Dana work with the police. Normally, when someone does something wrong at a business, the business fixes the problem internally as much as possible, and only gets the police involved when it's unavoidable. If a company's been embezzled or defrauded, for example, the money lost to the crime is far less than the lost stock value if it became public knowledge. In this case, Dana has an interest in making sure that the public never associates kidnapping, rape and torture with her company, and the public could find out if it appears in a police report. Or maybe Dana wants to see Tina criminally charged. We'll see.
Author's Response:
I gotta say I am not sure where the idea of Amy as a manipulator came from haha, but you raise some interesting points absolutely. Time will tell.

Interesting that potentially "Dana" goes in the breakroom after hours on a Friday and ends up over Eva. Since Eva has no way to tell time and no way to see the infinite room around her, we're left wondering if its before or after the "cop" goes to visit Tina as well as if its Dana at all.
I also wonder if Dana would get the police involved as finding a shrunken Eva that way would sink the company. Headlines in the news would be "Big Tech Company Shrinks and Tortures Ex-Employee with New Device. Could You or Your Loved Ones Be Next?"
I hope Dana is looking for Eva and just being careful because Tina is unhinged and probably dangerous if she gets backed in a corner. Despite Eva's attitude, Dana is her friend.
I've not hated a character more than Tina and Amy since Joffrey Baratheon. I hope the next couple of chapters have Karma come calling for them.
#FreeEva
I also, kind of agree with Barrowman, but only a little. As written, I feel like there's no way Amy could have assured Tina that the device would be able to restore Eva considering that Amy was surprised it even worked at all on a person. On top of that, she's currently part plant and part human. She needs food, water and sunlight to survive. There's no way Amy could have been confident that without those things for a weekend, Eva wouldn't just die. As it is, she came very close.
But, that's about as far as I agree. Tina's insane. From her perspective, this was a logical course of action. I see Tina's dialogue as trying to put a brave face on for Eva to show that Tina is in control when even exhausted and mentally fractured Eva could see the truth on her face. Not that I think she was in any state of mind to think more than surface level about it anymore.
I guess only Time can tell how this story ends. We only experience it from the perspective of 2 very unreliable narrators. One that is size and therefore perspective impaired and the other that is mentally ill.
Date: September 05 2021 11:20 AM Title: A Weekend Alone: Eva
So now we know what becomes of Eva. I think it's a testament to her strength that she isn't in even worse shape after a weekend of solitary confinement. But what becomes of Tina? I see two ways this can go:
1) No one discovers Eva and finds out Tina's been doing, even though Tina has clear flaws, in that she'll do worse things than Eva ever did, and that her child-like mind is easily manipulated by people who put on a friendly facade. If this happened, then the story would end with the message that you can have all those flaws and win without doing anything about them.
2) Tina's exposed, by Dana and/or the police. The story would establish that Tina has her own major problems, and was brought down by them.
3) Tina has her own transformation at the last minute, and gets Dana and the police off her trail.
From what I've seen of the story so far, 1) seems like the least likely, and 3) seems contrived and rushed. 2) is the most consistent with what I've read.

Idk man, nothing really sudden about all this imo since its been like 26 chapters. Might just be you expected one thing and got another. Just my take. Good stuff as ever though.
Date: September 03 2021 9:42 PM Title: Time for Change
I do not question Eva's breakdown. It is your sudden descision to make this al to easy and this advantage out of nowhere with zero consequences for the parties carrying this out is absurd. Never tested it on other humans before of shrinking to atomic size is safe, but somehow everything works out.
Just fire at the floor and only Eva grows, nothing else. With this sudden deus ex machina its to easy. Its so overkill in advantage and feels cheap/unearned.
Its like paralyzing someone after enough other torture leave them on the floor and than say after a few days when returning.
“Wow, you couldn’t even cross one floor tile huh?”
That is what I mean, that she acts like Eva was just put in the naughty corner. Where does that false pride come from?
What would happen if I put someone in total isolation for a few days? Wow, what effort, what skill. This is acuired to easy with zero consequences. Now all of a sudden everything fall into place and Tina gets the exact behavior she wants.
Author's Response:
I mean, solitary confinement is literally a torture technique used to break people. Also it has been specified a number of times that the prototype only affects organic matter. It's extreme because that is the point. It is meant to be extreme. And as the previous chapter demonstrated, Tina is anything but confident about any of it.
