I have been following and reading, not sure what constructive thing I could say till now as Ben was being abused by Malinda. I would have snapped and done something even if it was rash. I had fears that Claire's new power might corrupt her to be the same, I am glad to see otherwise.
I know this is a fictional setting but I can't imagine there wouldn't be revolts by the Betas against the Alphas if push came to shove. As big as the Alphas are they are still flesh and blood and there are ways to even the playing field. And in many cases an Alpha would be at a rather large disadvantage. If a Beta had nothing to loose I could see them using any means to get back at their oppressors.
I am suprised that the Alphas want to increase their numbers. As Syndrome from the Incredibles said "I'll sell my inventions so that everyone can be superheroes. Everyone can be super! and when Everyone's Super No one will be."
At the end of the day an Alpha uses so much more in the way of resources, food, water, space, everyday materials produces more waste and trash. I mean Claire most likely eats over 8 times more than she used to.
Just seems the Alpha status is something that the rich and powerful would keep to themselves.

If you haven't read GH-X2 by Imagin8, that is the world with which I work through. I make assumptions based on the story that people have read the story previously. Not for plot points, but for the general understanding alpha to beta as well as the mindset.
If you like this story, GH-X2 will having you turning pages.
As for the 'revolts' I spoke to that at a high level regarding the animosity and tales coming from towns previously 'converted.' Sterling International is aware of the coming tide, and Claire is their answer to that. Details coming in future chapters!

I really enjoyed this chapter it felt cathartic for Ben to get some form of justice. At the same time, this is exactly the kind of story I enjoy the most. The connection, the love, the romance. It's been hitting all the notes for me. I'm curious where the conflict with Melinda will lead the story.
I'll hedge my guess on Ben being a point of contention and perceived weakness for Claire by other Alphas. I suspect that if Melinda remains an antagonist that we'll see her use him. Otherwise, I'm excited for the environmental conflict that Ben will face in a world bigger and not yet accessible as well as Claire's new colleagues and friends who will not be as accepting of Ben. For Claire's responsibility to work with and endear Alphas to her new invention, how that will change her views as she mingles with others her size more often. Will she be at ostracized for her Beta partner, or will she develop empathy in Alphas for Betas.

Wow, the gentle Claire, the Violently dominant Malinda - this story's got it all! Hope we get to see both their roles continue to play out. I imagine after her little romantic staycation Claire'll get quite busy. Perhaps there'll be times he's be left in Malinda's care. I wonder if part of Malinda's job was to physically prepare him for his wife?

I will be incredibly sad if this story becomes a cuckold/tragedy between Ben and Claire.
Ben made a mistake, but at the same time, can he really be blamed for being raped? Is it considered rape in this new worlds culture or do betas have less than human rights in legal cases?
I personally enjoy love/romance/gentle more than I do violent. I would be heartbroken if Claire falls out of love with Ben due to the size difference.

I don't want to give anything away, but I made a point of explaining why what happened to Ben, happened to Ben.
I am exploring the changes in psyche that would happen given a true "New world order."
