And the plot thickens. Wondering how Cassandra will react with her lover being taken hostage at this point. I figure this is where her loyalties will be tested, between her romantic interests in a beta and her deference to her alpha superiors. Interesting to see where this goes. Good stuff.

Well, now I don't have a clue what Amalia's endgame is. She needs Claire but already has a grand scheme years in the making? Alpha will naturally takeover but she has to hide most of her organization in the shadows and kidnap/kill betas? She seems to want to raise tensions between alphas and betas, something like a race war? Perhaps she's stealing defense secrets to have the means kill off the beta majority military when they try to mobilize when civil strife happens in communities and cities between alphas and betas since fighter jets, tanks, and heavy weapons are the only chance betas have? The plot's gone over my head when it went from local city experiencing an alpha generation transformation to something that may turn into a countrywide coup.

I am surprised by how many people jump to the "Well hit them with everything you got!" They are still citizens of the same country. Enhanced or not they aren't starting a civil war.
As for the plot, everything has to build out from somewhere. The "after" of all of this is sort of pre-determined as this is based on the ideas set forth in GH-X2. While not the actual 'prequel' it is known what the world will look like later on.

Loving the interaction between Ben and Claire. Also amused by the convergence at the end of the chapter between both couples. Out of minor curiosity, is Cass going to be the biggest in size in this story? I'm assuming she will be, but I'm keeping open the possibility that there might be someone around her size or bigger, particularly a future antagonist. That would certainly add some suspense to the story, should you choose to consider that. No pressure either way, just wondering out loud. Keep up the good work!

Well that took off faster than I thought. Figured Phil and Cass would get to know each other before getting intimate so quickly (not that I mind). Are you planning on making them main characters alongside Ben and Claire from this point on? No pressure either way, just curious. Also wondering if the next chapter will be Phil and Cass getting fresh with each other, or if you'll go on to a different set of characters and save that scene for later. Either way, looking forward to more down the road.

I'm liking where the interaction between Phil and Cass is heading. Wondering if things between them will get a lot more intimate, given the chemistry between them so far. Also wondering if Malinda has something terrifying planned for Ben later on. Seems that might be her only way of spiting Claire, for now at least. Good stuff.

Interesting dynamic forming between Cassandra and Phillip. Wondering if "love at first sight" has just occurred in this chapter. Also nice to see more interaction going on between Alphas and Betas in the broader world at this point. Curious as to what this meeting between Claire and Mr. Sterling will amount to in the next chapter. Good stuff as always.

Appreciate it! Been busy this last week. I did do a few sets of Cassandra w/ Ben on my DA page. Not tied directly to the story but fun none-the-less.
I plan to finish the story, it just won't have a definitive timeline.

Hmm, I think Cassandra could be the tipping point at whatever domination plan Amalia has. If Claire has to be steered away from championing beta equality, Amalia must be using Cassandra as some sort of "perfect specimen" that can both impress the public and threaten Claire into obeying through beatings and threats against Ben since she's so massive even to Claire whose already larger then a typical Alpha. I think it could be a coin flip on it working though.
It seems like up to this point Cassandra has only been around Alphas when her growth really took off and they automatically respected her due to her size. So she hasn't developed a true sense of dominating and enforcing her will on others. Given her friendly and playful nature, I think there's equal chances of Malinda corrupting her into a cruel enforcer and Claire teaching her how to respect and treat others well. She has a desire to be liked and please those she knows so either woman could win her over. Curious to see what kind of relationship she develops with Ben and if he'll have a role in shaping her.

Glad to see Claire keep her priorities straight and not go full power hungry like most stories. Can see Ben getting into more trouble with Malinda.
Wonder if Malinda will ever realize that she is getting into even more trouble when Claire gets her hands on her again.
Seems Alphas are blinded by their size and power they forget that they used to be normal size but guess this is where Claire comes in to balance it out. Wondre if Claire will make more giant women to join her.

Wow. Quite the thrashing in that chapter. Really loving how Claire shows dominance, especially regarding protection over her husband. It's nice to see someone with power who doesn't let it go to her head, unless it's to keep a bad actor in check. Wondering if Malinda will take out her frustration on Ben in some way to get even with Claire, since she can't get revenge directly against her given the size difference between them.
Overall this story is pretty captivating. Looking forward more to the power dynamic and any further romantic episodes between Ben and Claire, given Claire's ascension over Ben. I like stories where a woman has power but still a gentle soul, at least where it concerns romantic partners. Hope to read more soon.
