Absolutely incredible chapter, dark ending? I dont know, I mean there is plenty of ryan x mimi, mimi grows absolutely colossal, 1000 year cycle has ended, all other goddess taken care off and got what they deserved, the light barrier trapping humanity on the planet is gone and humanity is finally safe lmao.
In all seriousness this is a pretty dark ending lol, though even though the other endings have not been released yet, and im sure there will be a more light-hearted and not completely crazy ending but this is still my going to be my favourite ending in terms of how enjoyable it is lol. And hey this is still better than layla destroying everything or even the 1000 year cycle which would have left only a few million people alive.
I love mimi in this chapter, honestly I did want to see Mimi somehow get to the size she was in ryans dream sequence in part 1 but i thought it wouldn't be possible in the story. Glad to see I was wrong, this was amazing. Im assuming this is the true power of the domain of origin since Layla was only a few thousand kilometres but mimi after absorbing all her power manages to get up to a few million kilometres. Also was lucy still in laylas ear, i guess lucy got absorbed as well lol. Is Mimi stronger than Genesis now? She is far bigger at least though Genesis probably held back a lot to avoid hurting anyone.
Mimi destroying the earth, forcing all of humanity on to her nipple, killing millions over one guys defiance and then even extinguishing the sun by peeing on it, she has gone insane and I am all for it. That was awesome, I have been wanting to see Mimi reach her full potential since the end of part one and even have a yandare moment over Ryan, this was far beyond my expectations.
Not only did Mimi end up killing Ryan, especially considering Fae really was not going to kill ryan at all so it was purely Mimi who caused ryans death but then she killed Fae as well, the only chance of bringing him back. I can definitely see why Mimi just completely lost it. Though Im suprised she targeted Ryemi and iggy as well but at this point shes just gone insane.
This is pretty much mimis dark moment at the end of part 1 dialled up to 11, she really did become undefeatable like she wanted to be back then, she will never feel weak again. She actually might be able to bring Ryan back considering the power of the domain of origin and just how powerful she is now, maybe by creating someone with the ability to bring back a human even without a body so a better version of Fae or something. Though I wonder how Ryan would react to this Mimi, she is pretty insane but physically this is basically is exactly ryans deepest desire, though obviously without the insanity and murder lol.
I am really curious to see how ryemi would react to all this. Ryemi does not even know about mimi destroying the city at the end of part 1 so for her to see her mother doing all this must have been completely insane for her. Especially after her father just died. Esthesia reaction would be interesting as well, as her and every other goddess has just been reduced to living on mimis nipple as mortals. Bet she is really regretting the whole 1000 year cycle thing lol.
Loved this ending, if there was a continuation for any of the endings, I feel that the continuation for this ending would have by far the most entertaining reactions from the characters and the situation in general. Once again phenomenal chapter

Technically in this ending, the majority of humanity has survived(other than the few million or so that Mimi casually killed), so there is some truth in this not being that 'dark' an ending. Yes, Mimi is a tyrant now, but if the world were to be ruled by an iron-fisted dictator, I would rather it be a cute goddess like her than anyone else
I did explain it a bit in the after chapter notes, but this is basically an ending that plays on all of Mimi's evil/yandere tendencies that have been hinted at throughout the story. I'm sure that readers have been wondering just what would happen to Mimi if she were to ever lose Ryan, given that her obsession over him is one of her most significant traits. This ending gives them exactly that in a 100% unfiltered manner.
I'm glad that you liked this ending, because I really like it too. In giantess narratives, I find that well-crafted 'bad endings' are just as interesting and enjoyable as the good endings, so I put a lot of effort into writing this one even though it will most likely not be considered the 'true ending' by most readers. That aside, I put a lot of effort into the other endings as well, so don't sell them short just yet as you might end up liking them more than this one.
(P.S. A continuation of this ending may be in the works, but it will be a drastically different story from The Origin)
